Nice! Takara were really into guns back then it seems.
Does it do Bullet time?

Super Gobots are very cool. Loaded with die-cast and pretty clever transformations, especially for the time. Bug Byte and Spay-C are my favorites.

we're allowed to post threads for non-TF collections here now?? (o_O)

Why not, it's just as interesting.

I’d be interested in seeing non-TF collections. TFs are my priority but I’m, and probably most other members on this board, a fan of toys / models in general.
I have complete collections of M.A.S.K, Visionaries, Dinozone … sadly that’s probably something I’ll never be able to say about my Transformers collection.

Yeah but this was posted in:
TFormers Community > Transformers > Transformers Toy Discussion > Collectors Corner
I'm not necessarily objecting to people showcasing their non-TF collections, but I'm wondering if this is the right section for it. Perhaps there could be a sub-section in the non-TF general discussion section for non-TF toy related threads?

Excellent suggestion, I’ll second it for what it’s worth.

This thread reminded me of this recent chat:
QUOTE
atr Bludgeon: oh i'm going to be getting rid of a lot of my transformers, is there any you want?
user: Only ones I'd want are ones you wouldn't get rid of if you had them :-)
user: ie first gen Megatron and soundwave
atr Bludgeon: you might be wrong
atr Bludgeon: hmm
atr Bludgeon: im only going to be keeping the ones in the box for the most part
atr Bludgeon: and all my insecticons
atr Bludgeon: i might be willing to send you a soundwave but i dont have the tapes
atr Bludgeon: you cant have my megatron, hes in the box
user: "A" ? how many do you have?
lol
I didn't get permission to repost the chat log so the other guys username was changed to user.

Here's a collectible I found cheap! It's a 1985 real playing tape player! The stamp states: Durham Industries--1985 Hasbro/Bradley. It plays cassette tapes, but sadly it drags the tape like it's in slow motion. But it's still cool:

That fact that it says "Future Machine" only adds to the awesome.

I remember my next door neighbor had one of those when I was a kid. I thought it was really cool since neither of us had an actual Soundwave toy.

I had that one last year, but sold him, as I didn't want to get into collecting Soundwave type things like I do Primes..But it was pretty cool.

Every time I see those Japanese ones, or anything kinda after the movie, the toys just seem so shoddy and the plastic so cheap.
But, congrats on getting figures you were after.
What's the deal on E-hobby..are they official? Why aren't they considered a KO?

They're official. They're like the equivalent of a Store-exclusive redeco/figure.
Nice catch on Artfire. I never realized at how nice of a figure it looks.

Technically Red Tracks is the Diaclone colors for the toy I believe.. *though I could be totally wrong* .. and E Hobby seems to either specialise in doing random generic background characters (Sunstorm and the like) or pulling out the old paint schemes and pass them off as new characters.
Yeah I'm sure you know most of that already..
E-Hobby is techincally offical.. even though they're kind of hard to come by. I believe TAK allows them to use the molds more or less however they want as long as it falls under Diaclone/Microman/Genric G1 cannon fodder..
Nice snag on Artfire btw!.. I'd like to have one to go with my Stepper Reissue.. but... eh, likely not gonna happen. Inferno and Grapple are more than enough for me when it comes to this particular mold anywho.

Ya again on the Artfire.
I almost bought Tom Dixon's Artfire but he sold it before I called.

I really need to get out to TRU and see if they have the Titaniums out here yet? Beautiful collection though, I think I've said as much a few times previously.
