First off, this is not knocking the movie at all. Most movies have goof ups in them and I just have fun catching them.
I'll start off with the first one I found.
When Sam is tryng to get away from Bumble bee on his Mom's bike and he goes into the parking garage. Then he spots Barricade and starts riding over to him. As he's riding over to him, moustache man is not in the car. Then the door swings open and he gets thrown off the bike. As the door closes, you see moustache man sitting in the driver's seat of Barricade without wearing sunglasses. Nothing wrong with that as he's a hologram and they can appear and disappear at will. But, once Sam gets up, he's looking into the windshield talking to moustache man, and if you look on top of the dash, you'll see his sunglasses sitting there. If he's supposed to be a hologram, then why are there physical glasses sitting there?

In the "happy time" discussion, we see Sam empty handed, and then a shot of his mom is seen. When we next see Sam and his dad, Sam has a box under his arm.
In the house, Simmons has a ring on his right ring finger. When he waves to Prime nervously, the same ring is now on his right pinky.

The ring was actually a USMC ring, which I thought was a nice little character detail.

Haven't checked to see if all y'all's are in there. IMDB isn't always complete, YMMV. It's fun to pick out goofs, even in a great movie like this.

Movie Goofs are fun to notice. The factual ones I could really care less about. It's the ones like the door closing and the ring switching fingers and stuff that are funny.

Sorry you guys, I made a BIG mistake. After watching my movie for the 15th time since purchasing it, I have to take back my goof I spotted. I looked closer and I believe what I perceived to be sunglasses were in fact gauge pods in the Saleen. Sorry, but thanks for posting some of the goofs you spotted. Keep them coming.

I dont think this is a goof, just a funny fan nod. When Jazz is scanning the solstice, there is a white Mazda displayed next to it. Some nice lil Alternators love. Another would be toy nod (or maybe the other way around) But during the final fight with Blackout when he chops the hell out of yellow car, Its an Aveo, Swerve anyone?

I'm not sure if it would count as a goof, but when I was trying to see if the truck Prime scanned already had the autobot emblem on the grill, I noticed that Prime doesn't have it when he finishes scanning. Whether it hasn't been replicated yet, or it's an actual goof I guess will go unknown, but still, felt it was worth mentioning.

Continuity: The amount of donut on Glen's plate while he and Maggie were in the interrogation room keeps changing. After Glen eats the donuts and finishes, only half of a donut remains. But when the FBI agents walk in, it can clearly be seen that there is one and a half donuts on the plate. And when the agent slides the plate to the center of the table, there is only a half donut on the plate again.
I watch this scene and I never noticed a half donut, there were always multiple.

Continuity: In the scene where Sam's Camaro is stalking him and he is fleeing on his bike, he ultimately flips his bike and crashes. Soon thereafter you see the black and white Decepticon police cruiser. On the side of the black and white police car, the lettering "POLICE" is in stencil format. In a following scene the stencil lettering is now completely filled-in in gold.
Wrong and its called light reflection and actually paying attention.
QUOTE
Continuity: SPOILER: At the big fight scene where the Autobots and the Decepticons are fighting in the street. Mikaela hot wires a truck to transport BumbleBee. When she hot wires the car, it clearly has an automatic gearshift. Later in the scene where Mikaela is driving and bumblebee is shooting, the car has manual gears. Seen where she gears down to drive faster.
Wrong again! If they actually paid attention you can see that its still an Automatic and yes, you can downshift on an Automatic Transmission.
One that was a easily noticable miss was the blatant reving of BB's engine. BB is an Automatic and if the engine were reved liked that while driving he would accelerate/lunge not sound cool. I believe this was in the scene where Megan gets dropped off at her house.

I knew they couldn't be sunglasses. They just didn't look right.
And if anybody watched the featurette on the Decepticons knows about Bonecrusher's tiny fork. IMO, to keep consistency, they should have put the big one he has when he starts flipping cars on the highway on him at all times from his roll call appearance to when he transforms. It's a lack of consistency just like G1

One continuity error that bugs me is Sam and Bumblebee at the end right before the "I'm not leaving you" moment. Cuz it sure seems like he's about to leave at a couple points, but then all of a sudden he's sitting there on the ground.

Heh, that one bugs me too, he was basically running around in a bit of a panic - then, the next thing you know, he's just sitting there...

Sam point's out Barricade during the final chase scene but he doesn't take part in the battle.
And Frenzy plants this world crippling virus but no one fixes even though there are half a dozen hacker characters taking up 45 min of screen time.

Yup - bugs the Blot outta me too, everytime I watch that scene. Cause he runs off screen like he's gonna do something (get Ratchet, talk to someone, give Starscream the finger, etc...), but all he does is run to sit down in front of BB like he's been there for 5 minutes in a stunned shock.

Also in that scene, all of the cars (in both directions) are driving down the wrong sides of the road. Since it was filmed at either dusk/dawn, I can only assume that Bay did this so that he could get the shot with the low sun-angles with the intention to flip the negative in post-production so that traffic would be on the correct sides of the road (something that was apparantly forgotten by the time editing occured).

one thing i noticed is that the first time the autobots get their new car modes and introduce themselves... they are already battle damaged in robot mode.... i understand bumble bee had a fight, but even still, since he scanned a new body, wouldn't one assume that since its 'brand spankin new' his robot form would look new also???

where was prime when the last fight was going on?
where did jazz, ratchet and ironhide go and why didn't bb and prime go too when the sector 7 guys were comin? prime could have let sam and mikaela get in bb and they all take off. instead he put em on his shoulder and hid under a bridge?
