... you can now pause, reverse play and slow mo. What things have you been able to notice now?
One thing I noticed when Prime is talking to Sam at the end of the movie, you can see an equalizer screen in his mouth. Now that I can do subtitles, I know that Frenzy was actually speaking some English.

Subtitles tell me Jazz definitely does not call Devastator "Brawl".
Starscream leads two jets off screen, for a total of three jets including him, but only two are shown strafing Megs, so Starscream was probably not involved in that attack.

When does he say that? I put on the sub-T on during the fight and nothing pops up. Now some ppl think he says "Bloody Hell" I'm thinking it's just vocal noises. Then again, I thought that with Frenzy too. Maybe they forgot to sub-t that?

3x I've checked and people who are insistant that Blackout uses his rear four bladed rotor as his weapon are wrong. His weapon has six blades. If you freeze it right after the thing expands but before it starts spinning, you'll see five blades and parts of a sixth hidden behind his arm cause of the angle he's holding it at.
I plan on getting FAB Blackout just simply for this weapon and then maybe seeing what the handle is like and if a little bashing is needed, so be it.

1. The Barricade 'death' scene some thought was there (when Ironhide is fighting Blackout) is not Barricade at all.
2. The tank is Devastator, not Brawl (confirmed in the movie and special features disc).
3. Bonecrusher really doesn't say anything in English (that's why there are no subtitles, unlike for Frenzy). We just interpret his sounds into something we want to hear.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. The only thing I understood Frenzy saying before subtitles was "Witwicky" and "Oh Blot!"

Can't you still see his main rotors on his back?
Also, FAB Blackout's rotors just peg onto his back or into his fist, there isn't much of a handle, just a peg maybe 3/8's of an inch long.

Speaking of the big brawl, it wasn't a visual so much as a hearing it. I finally noticed the strained "Gooooo" from Bumblebee, as well as one nobody mentioned.
After he finishes off Devibrawl, Mikaela says "Nice shot". Bumblebee responds with a wheezed/blippy "thankyou".

Some cool stuff I've noticed....
When Ratchet transforms during the Autobots' Intro Scene, his front tires are attached to his hands/forearms, as he transforms he literally picks them up and sets them on his shoulders as he finishes the transformation.
At Sam's house, when the Autobots are hiding in the backyard when they are tryign to hide from Sam's Dad about to look out the window, you can see Ratchet still sparking a bit from his electric shock earlier.
When Prime is reaching for his gun on his back, the handle and stock flip out/parts shift for him to grab it.
During Ironhide's slow-mo transformation and flip charge towards Devastator, right when he flips over the hot chick and you see him grunting/yelling, a missile flies by his head and barely misses his head and the woman. (I didn't notice that until I watched it on DVD).
When Ironhide says "Watch Out!" and the black car explodes. He doesn't just pick it up as a shield, if you'll watch carefully Ironhide actually throws the car at Blackout right as Blackout blows it up.
If you watch carefully, after Ratchet cuts off Devastator's hand, a scene later shows Devastator firing at Mikela towing Bumblebee and the military, Devastator's hand is back for that scene. It is shot behind Devastator. His fingers & hand can be scene at the end of his arm as he shoots to the background at Bumblebee and the military.

What's to say that maybe he replicates it somehow while still keeping the actual rotors on his back. It's a transforming weapon like all the Transformers in the movie practically have. It probably is like Bumblebee's where it transforms over his hand somehow and has a mega folding capacity. Who knows. All I know is it's NOT his rear four bladed rotor.

I watched the movie 3 times in theaters, one of those at an IMAX, and also last Thursday on DVD. Yesterday, I broke down and got the Xbox HD-DVD player and watched it in high def.
Holy cow, there was so much I missed before. The most noticeable was at the end, when Megatron lands and just before he pulls out his mace/spike thing, you can see his LEFT arm begin to pop out all sorts of spikes and bits twisting and turning like mashugga. And the Cybertronian characters were plain as day all over the robots. It was better than seeing it in the theater!

On a similar note, I never noticed that during the "It's Megatron, retreat!" moment, that Megatron just casually transforms his right arm into a cannon and blasts Jazz.
I mean, I noticed Jazz go flying, but not the cannon (as it was in the background).

Frenzy-speak is lolz. I noticed him saying "LadiesMan217" when he was talking to Barricade, and he also said "Megatron melting!" at Hoover Dam.

transform into something with more blades for weapon mode. If you can't tell us where the rear rotors are located in robot mode, you can't discount them as the weapon. We know it isn't the main rotors, which are still on his back.

I agree with everyone. Watching Transformers on dvd totally pawns the theatrical.
First time watching with my sister and couldn't believe everything I didn't catch. The damage on Jazz after he's thrown is amazingly detailed and you can really see it on the others.
The "Watch out!" has Ironhide picking up a car as a shield and getting it blown up by Blackout as he flies into the shot. So that's where that falling tire comes from.
I noticed Sam running past in the scene where Blackout splices that parked car and blows half of it through the window.
Jazz for some reason or other still squeaks like a plush toy when Megatron stomps him. In the theater I never caught it so I assumed it had been taken out but apparently not.
Saw Bumblebee's canon transform into his hand after the tow truck scene.
Megatron uses his mace at the hoover dam
Megatron transforming his canon not once but twice in the final fight.
The list goes on.

I think this is one of those Beast Wars moments. Like Scorponok having a bee drone in his hand instead of his hand turning into one. Or Primal Having Shotguns come out of his forearms, hands still intact. Or SilverBolt firing his feather missles and they are instantly replaced.......unlike the one I lost for my toy
