Anglo on EbayThis seller had posted a MIB Minerva & MIB GoShooter, for $700 & $400 starting bids respectively, but didn't sell. So, he then reposts them for $730 & $450 respectively.... could some one please explain this logic?

Good seller he may be, but 90% of his stuff is overpriced.
The only reason I can think of to hike the price of items that previously didn't sell is to cover the loss of the listing fees (although if a relisted item sells the first time of asking original fees are refunded) - anways its a risky strategy to increase the starting bid of items that were already overpriced. So in answer to the question, no, I can't understand his logic.

Well...hhmmm...maybe he had a lot of watchers but no one pulled the trigger so he figures that if he raises the price, someone will grab it thinking that the price may get hiked again??

If his was the second time it was relisted, he would have to cover the fees, so that could be the hike.

I don't think so cause I seen him do this several times already. So he will post a toy for let say $700 as a starting auction. He's hoping probably for like $800-900. Instead, no body bids on it. So he does it BIN for $750 which is his minimum. I know it sounds retarded when nobody bids on it at the starting price at $700 but go figure.
