Anyone have any dealings with robot kingdom. I see they have the MP-03 G1 repaint which I definately want...but I also want to make sure the service is good. If anyone could let me know how their dealings with robot kingdom went I would appreciate it.

I got my MP-05 from Robotkingdom (it was one of the only stores selling unmodified) and the service was good. Shipping there is REALLY steep, though. Be prepared to spend about $20 on S/H no matter what you buy.

Good prompt service, yeah shipping was a little high, but I order everything from overseas via EMS, so I asked for it a little. I have bought some vintage figures from them, and they have been willing to negotiate a little.

If I were you I would wait until it's released, it is going to be a WalMart exclusive, not like it's a Japanese only item. I don't know what Robot Kingdom is charging, but WalMart is going to be $59.95. If you can't find it in store, wait until you can find it on-line, and have them ship it to your nearest store for you for free.

This should probably go in the Shoppertron forums. There may be other vendor reviews there already.

Robot Kingdom is located in HK, so you get international shipping costs. The guy I corresponded with in e-mail is named Martin, and I believe he is the main proprietor. My order a year back or so was two TFC-06 reissue Megatrons. The packaging seemed to be sufficient. They seem reliable in that if they list the item on their site, they will have it.

I would rate them amongst my "B" grade vendors according to the below scale.

If:
- "A" vendors are guys like BBTS
- "B" vendors are guys who you can "count on to have it"
- "C" vendors are completely unreliable, their listings are out of date and will thus waste your time while the item sells out elsewhere
- and "F" vendors are people you should personally blacklist because they will not only waste your time but make you miserable or rip you off.

I would wait except where I am there is no such thing as a walmart....so if walmart.com is sold out which I fear they will be shortly after the fig launches...I am SOL...but thanks for the advice anyways smiletf.gif

How is RobotKingdoms shipping compared to HLJ? (Since both are "over there")

I've only ordered 1-2 items at a time from either. Shipping was about the same for both -- ~$20-30 USD -- to the west coast US.

the high shipping is precisely why i prefer bbts!

now i just wished they'd have the crystal convoy misb for preorder!

You can check RK's shipping costs before purchasing.
Just add your items to cart, checkout, enter phone number (can be anything), choose shipping type and your location, then on the next screen it'll tell you how much.
I've had a few good dealings with RK and highly recommend them.

thanks but the shipping tends to work out better for me with bbts.

again i wish some sellers besides the scalpers in china would sell or at least do preorders for the ehobby crystal convoy misb. anyone know when rk will put it up?
