I think it has to do with whether you are logged into eBay at the moment or not.

I think that theory is rubbish...I'm always logged in and I've never had trouble posting links. I believe it may have something to do with the lenght of the link itself.

Yep, the auto link here can't seem to handle the over-sized links. Wouldn't be a problem if people used BBcode instead of being lazy. redface2tf.gif

Back on topic, what was the original owner, a chain smoker in kindergarten that kept his toys next to the ash tray near a window with lots of direct sunlight? That's pretty ridiculous.

Before you accuse people of being lazy why dont you check to see wether they have a clue what BB code is ? or if the way they have posted the link is the only way they know how thumbsdown.gif

You could literally call it a G2 Fortress Maximus repaint.

don't know BBcode, tried to learn but i just copyand paste sometimes (works on smaller links)

what's really annoying is the fact that if you actually use the link box in the advanced reply option it still misses most of the link thumbsdown.gif

guys...

ok, bbcode is like this

CODE
[img]www.server.com/image.jpg[/img]

the bbcode from urls are like this, if you just want the url use this
CODE

if you want to make a link where you hide the url use this
CODE
[url=www.server.com]hidden link[/url]

if you've got firefox download BBCode Xtra. it's a plugin that allows you to use bbcode simply buy right clicking, links here
