as many of you may have guessed... i am as big of fan of wrestling as i am tf..

that being said i have not yet joined any wresting forums similar to this forum and feel the need to discuss current events

It seems my man Kennedy, pictured to the left, was involved in a match that has left cena, current champion stripped of title now, on the injured list for 8-12 months. after the initial injury, that was in no way a result of the in ring performance as much as it is the hectic schedule he performs, randy orton attacted cena as part of their on screen story adding to the injury. He seems to be the man most people will expect to take the tile home this sunday at the pay-per-view. to me this is a huge tactical mistake. i hate orton... i'm not an orton hater as much as an orton yawner. he is the most boring heel to come around in years... maybe even decades. i feel the same way about cena however. call it shadenfrauden if you want but i find the last year with cena on top has been forgetable. WWE has a great oppurtunity to bring back a classic pay-per view format Kinig of the Ring and use this tournment to crown the new WWE champ as they did with the 1992 royal rumble. they currently have a poll to see who fans think the next champion should be with kennedy pulling 3rd at 13% and HHH 18%. who's #1... our favorite pornstar turned wrestler, Storyline only not really a former porn star, Val Venis with 45+% of a vote that includes 15-20 current stars. it's a statement about how fans feel about the current product and lack of roster depth rather than their love of venis. He has been a jobber for wwe since his 2000 Right to Censor days.

I cant really discuss as I gave up on Wrestling a lng time ago. It just got really boring and forgetable for me. I was a HUGE fan. Monday nights were like Christmas morning for me every week.

Val Venis as champ LOLZ! Might as well.

he wasn't named in that list... he tore his pectoral muscle... they've got surgery pics and video...

even if he were it'd only be a 30-60 day suspension depending on if it's 1st or 2nd offence... 3rd he'd be gone.

WWE is going downward spiral. Damn we need HBK, Triple H and some decent superstars to fill the main event slots!

Once Stone Cold and Rock were done so was I.
Darth Caine
LOL yeah, Stone Cold was a great performer, but The Rock was just a sellout. Anyhow, I start watching wrestling during Attitude era, especially when DX, Stone Cold, Kane and Taker were all on their golden years.
ROSEDOGGYDOG
Yeah, I have been to a few of their Raw and Smackdown events in the past.

As a Vegas-boy myself, I'd LOVE to see Val "The Big Valbowski" Venis have THE Title around his waist. That. Would. Rule! He has been overlooked so much.

The story line with "Hornswaggle" has to go away. Like, "never even started" type of "go away."

I miss Gregory Helms as The Hurricane. rumblecry.gif He's a great competitor, that's no lie, but he was... funn13r... as Hurricane. Was a nice break away from the "I'm going to kick your ass and take your title and rrrr-ooooooo-oooolllllll WWE," "No. I'M going to kick YOUR ass and KEEP rrrrrRRRR-oooooooOOOOO-ooolLLLLLLLLLLing WWE," lunkheads. For that matter, I'd seriously like to see "The Job Squad" return <either the old one or a new one... or a mix of both> and raise some Hell and some laughs also...

ECW just isn't the same without the extreme brutality it used to have. What happened to the horror... the horror...

Other than that, I'm no longer in the possesion of cable or satellite so I'm missing all the shows and have no clue what all is going on. The only glimpses I get are through a fuzzy "Telemundo" channel when I'm helping set up new security systems at the current installation I'm at. And that sucks...

Lately I've only been watching Raw and not the other 2 WWE brands. Not really watching Raw, but use it as background noise.... I also watch TNA.... errr hear TNA.... I also watch "TNA" if ya kno what I mean aha. I own a few wrestling stuff, just Angle and Orton. I also own a replica World Heavyweight Championship Belt which cost me $280 I think. Kind of want the WWE belt, but I'm anti-Cena and I hate what they've done with it. So I just might end up gettin the previous version that Lesnar, Guerrero, & JBL held.

HBK came out of no where last nite, I hear about returns before they happen, but his was just unexpected. The last I heard about him was that he wanted to spend time with his family and concentrate on his religion and that he wasn't going to be coming back for a few more months. Also he wanted the same road schedule as the Undertaker, but I'm kind of unsure as of rite now wether or not WWE came to terms with him on that.

Any of you guys own a 360 and play any of the SvR games? If so, Gamestop has a demo of SvR08 with pre-order of the game. Too bad the demo isn't out on Live rite now.

Anybody excited about Jericho's return or how about the New Hart Foundation?

i was suprised hbk came back last night... seems like he'd come back earlier in the show when HHH was wrestling.... it've had more impact i think.

hhh put on a good show at the ppv.. he had 3 matches and actually made an effort in all three...

i'm a smackdown fan myself... just cause i don't have cable... but i also like their wrestling based show format with multiple matches that last 15+ minutes as opposed to the story based raw with frequent in ring speaches. smackdown still hasn't recovered from losing kennedy and king booker to raw and only gaining flair and torrie wilson

jericho will be good if.... IF they let him be main event and don't bring him in for one big match and then squash him to mid card.

i miss last years brand specific ppv's since the change to every brand every ppv all the matches have been the same 12 guys... they say they changed due to lack of roster depth... i think it's just laziness on the writers side. they aren't doing anything with the undercard and all they have time for is title matches and one nontitle. they had to throw jeff hardy and kennedy into a 6 man tag just to fit them into the ppv because of all the current titles in WWE

to me it's the undercard that makes or breaks a ppv... the mainevent i can usually predict.

I felt WWE was copying TNA with Angle having 3 matches in one of their last PPVs, but only puttin effort into 2 of em.

Here are the current members list:

Harry Smith
TJ Wilson
Teddy Hart (Nephew of Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Bruce Hart, Jim Neidhart and Davey Boy Smith.)
Ted DiBiase, Jr.
Natalie Neidhart (valet)

Teddy Hart was actually in MTV's Wrestling Society X, I saw one ep, wasn't all that bad.
Optics
It's confirmed, Teddy Hart was let go, so that means thats a no go for the New Hart Foundation, they were scheduled to debut next month.
slugpitcher
i read that today too, they could still do it with harry smith and natilie neidhart if they wanted i think...
Darth Caine
