Finally getting around to my Alt Frenzy repaint. Anyone who has repainted Alt Rumble removed the headlights successfully? It seems to be stuck in there and I don't want to break it. Any tips besides masking?

Remove the screw..Careful, that one strips easier than any other one..And then, you can use a flat tip screw driver to push in on the orange part, gentley as to not chip or scratch it. You can also go in from the back/inside, behind it..It might scratch some of the inside chrome, but since it's not a part thats ever shown, it doesn't matter..So, kinda wedge in there to get it moving..Or, you can also grab the front of the light, that rounded angle side that sticks out, and rock it back and forth..The piece is glued in some, so, you need to pop that seal.

The glued part explains why it can't come off easily. I finally got one side off with a lot of rocking back and forth. The other side, I just taped off. After a trying for an hour I figured it wasn't worth it. Definitely appreciate the help guys!
