That is one awesome set-up.
At one time, I had my BTs set up w/ their G1 counter-part, but it didn't look as nice.
Great looking collection.

Thanks. They're around $70 at Ikea. They're called Detolf, or something to that effect.

Here's the custom G1 tech spec cards I made up that you can see behind the bots, made to resemble Binaltech cards format:

Feel special, Metroflex - I came and joined these forums *specifically* because of your collection thread :) Here's what I wrote over on TF2005 before I realized you were banned:
Truly an awesome display, and definitely in my Top 3 of collections that I've seen posted here.
Save for the G1 versions of these characters placed in front of their Alternators versions (very nice touch btw!), the inclusion of Omnibots and the addition of G1 Reprolabels on Wheeljack, Tracks, etc., this is pretty much a dead ringer of how I have my own collection displayed... right down to the additions of Classics BB & CJ and the Detolf cases. But even still, yours looks MUCH better and more complete than mine (currently) does.
That said, is there any way I might be able to bounce a few questions off you? I don't want to bog down this thread with a bunch of Q+A's that will distract other readers.
Thanks man!
So yeah, do you mind if I shoot you a PM with a few questions? I'd love to get a few tips on how to properly complete my own little G1/Alts display.
Cheers!

That last pic looking up at MP Prime is awesome. Every thing is so neat. I'd hate to have to move anything.

Brilliant setup Metroflex, having the G1 toys alongside their Alternator/BT counterparts is a great showcase of how TF's have evolved over the years.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm glad they at least were able to keep the colour schemes the same from old to new form. Helps tie things together better.

Very well displayed and your customs are sweet! I need to buy more Detolf cases or maybe even a billy bookcase with doors.
Btw where did you get the cases for your Alts?

They're Testors 1/24 cases. I got them at Toys R Us and Wal Mart, but I haven't seen them on shelves for about 2 years now.

Lol, I wish. No, I just collect Alts/Binals. When Smokescreen came out, I stopped collecting ever other type of Transformers and just got Alts/Binals (and some MPs too). These have completely spoiled me towards Transformers. Everything else looks too kiddie for me.
