i love leader mvoie primes vehicle mode and transformation. but i allways hated his robot mode, the head on screen and in toys disgusted me. so i improved it and now all aspects of leader class prime are fantastic. the head still needs alittle painting but i love it. i used the clip with the ball joint of armada hoist's head. and sawed off a little square with a ball left (please not that rid primes head socket has the same size as armada hoists ball). i sawed off leader primes head coz i was impatient. then i threw the pieces in my fireplace and watched it melt (no, i really did). adn stuck the bottom of my square on the leader primes rising head panel. heres the result. NOTE: this is photo quality of a nokia 6600 from 2003.

Nope, just because people are willing to pointlessly attack others on their ideas makes this thread no less valid. Look at over half of the "CUSTOM ALT XXX" threads, they usually have a line along the lines of "SO I SWITCHED X'S HEAD WITH X'S AND VOILA!" so does that make em any less of a custom? NO IT DOESNT. Just because we have artists like JIN who do fantastic display peices makes kids/adults who have only basic knowledge or skills in this feild, It makes it incredibly daunting and scary to put artwork of any quality in this area. The bullBlot "THAT AINT A KITBASH/CUSTOM" Eliteism need to stop, FULL FECKING STOP. We are here to see works of ALL QUALITIES AND ABILITIES. Sometimes the best works are the simplest inspiring "better" artists to change their ideas on a CU/KB.
Pointless attacks are little more than childish immature bullying. They make forums less hospitable and hostile. The forums are for EVERYONE NOT JUST THE "BEST OF THE BEST" and as such the attitude to customs needs to be CONSTRUCTIVE not SARCASTIC BULLBlot BULLYING.

If you actually read the same thread as I have been doing, you would have noticed something. For I, for the love of Hephaestus, guardian god of technology, craftsmen, artisans, and sculptors, can find no instant where anyone claimed this was not a kitbash. There is Roboraptor, yes, but his comments are more directed towards the quality of the figure, as are mine, and rightly so, I believe, and not the method of replacing parts. But simply because you have a personal pet peeve, namely your percieved 'elitism' within this subforum, does not mean you can reinterpret those comments to suit your agenda.

As so, I see no reason not to comment on a kitbash I do not like. If I feel the need to make a comment, I will, and the content of that comment and the manner in which I make my point, are up to me to decide. You may disagree, but that is the beauty of a discussion: different viewpoints.

EDIT: And stop using CAPITALS, they make you LOOK like TRAMP.

I personally DON'T like the KB he did. I think that it looks off somehow, probably because I love the movie design and that RID design looks very squashed in.

Please, excuse me, but as a matter of fact I disagree with you. You are english, and do not take this the wrong way, but you know as well as I that the UK has a cultural tradition of being polite to the point of extreme. That, in itself, is not a bad thing at all, and it does bring about a more, or at least at the surface, comfortable social environment. However, I for one am a firm believer of directness. I am straightforward, to the point of what in Commonwealth eyes would be called rude. I see those who act 'polite' as social predators, conniving there way through society. I do not agree with their lives. In the same way, other people have issues with the way I act towards them.
