I'm guessing you haven't opened him. Good. Return him immediately and wait for your local store to get more TFs in.

I don't like Leader Class Megatron, but buying Voyager Megatron made me appreciate the Leader class version.

IMO yes. My friend thought he would be a cheap bastard and buy him instead of Leader and he ended up being a cheap bastard and cheap whore because he got f*cked

I got the figure. TF'ed, was wholly unimpressed, stuck it in the wardrobe and tried not to think what else I could have bought for 20 quid.

I don't have a problem with him. He's a lot less frustrating than Leader Megatron, who just can't look right (and who has the most pointless electronics gimmick ever). And he costs 50% as much.
I would have waited for the Best Buy repaint, though.

there's a topic on the repaint in the customs forum, check it out since i'm too lazty to re say it X_X

I'm not fond of either Megatron figure, however Leader Class looks so much better. I hate the fact that the Voyager Class' wings look like if they melt, then there won't be any wings. Of course, I'm not much of a fan of him in the movie. I was hoping for at least him scanning an "Earth Mode".

I'm going to have to buck the trend here, and say that I actually like Voyager Megatron quite a bit. The ice doesn't bother me at all. I'm not too fond of Leader Megatron because of the lack of detail (too much plain gray plastic), the pointless electronics, and the stupid spring-loaded mace thing. I personally would choose the Voyager version over the Leader version, because it's half the price and (to me) looks better. It's not like either one is fantastic or particularly movie accurate.

Leader is by far more accurate and fun to play with. Period.
While I personally like the ice on the voyager, the toy as a whole is just retarded in alt mode. Almost the entirety of the robot is just simply hanging off of the bottom. The feet really piss me off due to their hair triggered clasping action. He's just no fun. His TF is entirely too simplified. It's got posability and that's it....if you can get passed those F'n feet. I really don't feel this toy is worth the 20$ I paid for it. As such, it's a good thing I got it for my GF and not me. I'd have taken the damned thing back.

I picked up two Voyager Megs, one I kept in the box. The other, I'm planning to rip the hands of and custom them so Barricade can have fingers.

The legs are bothersome because there is not much to be done with them. Voyager Megatron's legs are straight in the jet mode, which just looks lazy from a design standpoint; perhaps not lazy but in a way that says, "I don't know what to do with them." Leader class Megatron's legs fold up underneath the wings, creating two heavy masses. This makes what is supposed to be razor-sharp death machine look bottom-heavy.

I don't know if it's a flaw with mine, but they just don't want to stay in place in his jet mode. Plus it took me awhile to figure them out when I first got him. To this day, I still get confused. Why couldn't Micheal Bay just have him turn into a Revolutinary War cannon or something !!
Don't get me wrong, I like the figure, but the legs........I hate them !!!!

My leader Megs doesn't stand up well... he falls over a lot.
Vgr-Megs is a really neat "Action Figure" but as a Transformer - hes kinda weak. On the flip-side, there is no reason for his Cybertronian altmode to be complicated or a "disguise". As for the ice, I clipped, removed and/or painted all of the ice on mine. I really like the Pincher Gimmick if only they were real tallons and not icee things.

I agree with this. Every time I transform him back to Icy Jet mode, I hate him. But I love him again when I transform him back to Icy Robot mode.

I prefer Voyager Megs to Leader Megs. Same with Prime. Why do I even buy Leader toys? I can't remember the last one I really liked!
