Finally got rumble and jauguar xk ravage today. So stoked I almost don't wanna take em out of the package but then I just have to "pose" them...lol. Kinda sad that the alt. line is going away...at least for now...it would be totally awesome if they continued to update G1 characters into modern vehicles. I had seen a post where someone wished they would make masterpiece versions of all the constructicons but I would almost rather have them release all the constructicons as alts. It would be cheaper so more feasible for hasbro and would look super awesome combined into Devastator. What does everyone else think?

Congratulations. Ravage rocks.
Well, all series end, so it's no surprise this one ends, is it? Let's just be happy it went on for as long as it did, for a non-mainline series 2003 - 2007 is a pretty good run.

Yeah I'm sad they've gone, but they had a great run. But as other threads have said, if you think about it, there were prob only about half a dozen or so charcters they could have done, ie Ironhide, Ratchet, Megatron, Soundwave, Bumblebee etc.
I certainly six combining Constructicons as Alts would be about as awesome as it gets! Wouldn't mind the inacuracy in scale. I'd preffer them to be the same height as the other Alts. Heres hoping...
My stock is with the MP line now to keep us collectors happy. I wana see Shockwave, Soundwave, Thundercracker. Maybe they could do a MP Ironhide, just a head taller than Alts, for example.
I preffer Battle Ravage by the way!

I was praying that Bumblebee, Cliffjumper and a red Skids repaint Ironhide would have been done before they were put to bed. I still think they went out on a good note. Finally, we got 2 of the most unique molds ever in the line and they were the only Decepticon specific molds made. No other figures in the entire line are more instantly recognisable. There is no denying that Rumble is Rumble/Frenzy and that Ravage is Ravage. All the other characters could have been any other Autobot.....well Tracks and Hound are damn near spot on too but paint em yellow and Jazz could easily be Bumblebee. Prowl and Prime could have been Red Alert and Trailbreaker

Jaguar Ravage rocks pretty hard. I wasn't sold from pics, but once I got him he looked fantastic with my other 'Cons.
My alt collection is ...mostly completed too. *grumbles* I still need a Decepticharge and a Camshaft. Anyone wanna trade 'em to me for a Windcharger and a Prowl? :-P
Other than those, I have all the alts I wanted. I skipped a couple in favor of other color schemes (i.e. Rodimus because I liked Mirage and Prime because I preferred Nemmy) but have had all but Roddy and Rollbar at one time or another.

Congrats on getting them

. They're really worth it and thankfully alts ended with three great figures: Rumble, Ravage & Rodimus.
Although, I wouldn't count alts as dead and gone quite yet. I would be very much surprised if the coming few years wouldn't give us some repaints as exclusives of some kind. a Red Scion or a Blue Civic as next years SDCC wouldn't surprise me in the least.
But it is a shame that we won't see any more regular releases or new molds. And with the end of alts, there basically has come an end to my collecting. Actually, the alts/THS/MP's have made clear to me that most other TF's really aren't worth my money.
