TFW booted me over the following;
As most know, I worked online doing cam show stuff. Some people over there didn't care for that, and always felt compelled to insult me, or attack me over it, stating that TFW was a place for children and childrens toys, and had no place for a person such as me. One nite, another fellow camgirl posted pics since she just got the 20th Anv. Prime (these pics were clean, just her face and the toy) And I made a threaed just stating that, after all the posting I'd done on the cam sites with my Transformers stuff, it's finally spreading, and a few other closet TF fans were coming out. Her pics had text added to it with her website..I blurred that out knowing it had adult material to it. But she asked me to at least post her Myspace link, which I figured was fine..Since everyone has a myspace, and technically, porn stuff isn't allowed on there. But apparently links are. So, someone on TFW made a complaint that the link had adult material..So, they deleted the link, and Wreckgar, a person I HAD considered to be a friend, issued me a warning. (This was right after he sold me this Prime Christmas Ornament..) Then Freshdebesh who also IMed me regularly and talked often enough, IMs me on AIM and asks what the whole issue over that thread was..I had no idea, as I had been asleep, and lots of Blot had started overnight. I go and check out the thread, and I see Gen Magnus and Onesock had desided to start up their compaign again to insult me and derail the thread..The whole point of the thread was that the TF fandom was spreading, and I said by all means, go say hi to her on myspace, and invite her over to join TFW. I went in and took a few shots back at both Magnus and Sock and eventually Fresh came in and closed the thread saying it was nolonger on topic. (Oh, btw, I had even gone back in originally, and blurred out the link to her myspace page as well) Then I saw later, MOD supreme Kickback decided he needed to reopen the closed thread just to come in and add his own worthless 2 cents. He put "This thread is F*cking spam and is F*cking advertising porn/adult material and you F*cking know it." and closed it again..Even after everything had been removed, closed, done. That was a real BS move.
But it was all fine and well, but, after getting the wanrings from Fresh and Wreckgar, I had decided I needed some time away from that annoyance..It isn't worth getting frustrated for online drama stuff..And I posted in my collection thread the latest purchase I had made, and said I was signing off for awhile..But I had some customs still to do, and I'd keep them updated etc. I then made a longgggggggg PM to the Mods and Admins on there, over how this issue was handled. People I had considered friends stabbing me in the back was one thing. But the dual nature of their little boys club was what was really annoying. For 2 years there, I posted regularly, I made customs for people. I was very active there. I purchased toys for people who couldn't get them and NEVER raised prices or tried to make a dollar off it, I supported the fans and members there in almost every way I could. And instead of defending me when others started saying sh*t about me, I in turn would get warned if I bothered defending myself. And how they were so proud of the whole award winning nature of their site, I suggested maybe that they start acting like the responsable people they claimed they were. That maybe their mods shouldn't have avatars of large bouncing anmie breasts if they were so worried about the children present, or that the mods who were representatives of that site, should be maybe more well behaved then what Kickback had said, and not use such harsh language that young kids might see and be offended by..
The next morning I woke to a bunch of IMs from people saying Blot was happening on my collection thread..So, I went in, and found like 5 new pages of people starting out just saying nice stuff, hoping I'd come back etc..And then, of course, eventually it turned ugly, and people again started their insulting, trash talking, and Gen Magnus and Onesock came in saying stuff I won't even bother repeating (as I have no idea what the rules are over here) and that stupid Zeckskitty just carried on..Over 5 pages, and not once did a mod step in and warn them, or tell them to stop..It was only then, when I came in, and started back on some people over the comments they made, that they took note, and so I decided to bite the bullet, and go for broke as it were, and posted my complaint message on my thread as well..
And then I was banned, as well as Zecks, Onesock, and then a few others who had come to my defense over it. Then my "friends" in the mod community, came IMing me again going "Oh my, what happened..?! What's wrong with you?!" etc..Blah. I still needed to communicate with the people I did customs with..And had my room mate join, we set it up, showing it was indeed 2 people, thus the sig pic and avatar, we showed his collection, stuff like that--we did everything to show that it wasn't me, but now him..But, TFW just went ahead and booted him as well, and then I was banned permanently for having multiple screen names..Stupid Afterburners..If that's how they want to run their site, they're welcome to it, and I certainly don't need to be a part of it. I enjoyed being over there, but I don't think i'd ever fit in well enough to be one of them. And they proved it. They go on regularly, whenever a girl joins there, (or even someone just claiming to be a girl, right Zeckskitty?) and go "oh, I hope we don't scare you away like we do every other girl, we're a good place." and then go right ahead and do that. Good job.
