OK, i have finally found some new figs! i came across longarm, payload, and dropkick at target in CP (upstate). i'm not a fan of automorph, so i tend to pass on the main movie figs and gravitate to the off screen/video games figs. i am SO glad that i do this, b/c most of the latter dont have automorph (or is very minimal). he's my 2 cent on this haul...

longarm is very nice! only 2 things take points from him. they are; his gun is screwed to his hand (easily fixed), and his doors dont lock in well for his alt mode. still, a very nice fig!

payload is decent (weakest of the 3). again, 2 gripes for him too. the chest head piece does like to pop off (fixable), plus the rather long bar stickin out of his back. if not for the gimmick, then this wouldnt be a prob. it's hastak though, so watcha gonna do? regardless, he's a decent addition to the collection.

Dropkick... holy Blot! this is my new favorite fig! period! everything seems to place so right on him in alt or bot mode (and he has automorph?!). he's quite the mini-alternator in transformation complexity (actually, all 3 have unique transformations). as of right now, he's damn near perfect (no such thing as perfect in my book) and i cant wait to see when/if he's dethroned. Hastak, i thank u for this fig!

for those that have these figs, what do ya'll think of them?

I'm dying to find Dropkick, he does look very cool.

I removed the plunger from Payload. It's not a mod for the timid, but it saves the fig IMHO. See my thread "Dx Payload, now kibble-free" in Kitbash.

You can mount Longarm's gun on his shoulder buy re-arranging it and using the tow hook to grab the bottom of the windshield in bot mode. Looks cool. Enjoy and congrats!

same thing happend to me at a local Super Walmart only I got Dreadwing too! Looks like they're hitting stores again.

I love dropkick and longarm. I think they are some of the best designs for the deluxe class along with BB 09'. Some detailing paint and they will be perfect. I however, won't buy any figures they can't put a decent head on, so that leaves out dreadwing and payload.

Dropkick has the best transformation of all movie deluxes imo.

I love my Longarm. My brother however has convinced me that he's a latter day Hoist. The had shape/look is very similar, and they both turn into tow trucks.

Plus, I don't know if anyone does this, I figured out a way to give him a little height. I make sure the part behind his headlights are pointing straight down and then adjust the lower legs/ankles just right so that he can stand tall and proud. He looks taller than Jazz this way.

As for the cannon, that plays into the whole Hoist thing, who had a blaster/tool on his right arm in place of an actual functional hand.

Payload is great. Glad I purhcased him with a gift card and not my own actual money. I still have enough for one more dlx. I saw Dreadwing at Target, should I pick him up?
