I've seen DVD Prime go from $70-$90 at Walmarts, but on a whim I brought one up to the price scanner and lo! $50. This was at Wallingford's 24-hour Walmart in Connecticut, exit 66 off I-15. I can't say whether or not it's a system-wide thing or what, but I picked one up to display in alt mode, and two more for friends. Pretty decent deal.

Sweet, sounds like maybe the "glitch" is the fact my store had them labelled at $80!

I've been keeping my eyes open for those alleged $30 clearance DVD Primes people were talking about months ago, but they never got marked down in my area and after the movie they disappeared. I was *shocked* to find them for $50, which is a pretty decent deal in my book.

Good news indeed.

At my Wal-Mart they were marked at $50 but rang up at $70. I told the cashier about it and he looked thoroughly dazed... but his manager happened to walk by and said that yes, my price was right so he changed it.
