Anyway, what's the deal with these DCPI codes I keep reading about? I'm assuming that it's some sort of bar code for the stores to use to quickly look up, but what I don't understand is why they aren't out ont he shelves if they have them? Not sure if it's true, but I read a bunch of places that 8/26 is when Target is supposed to have them out for sale.

Will they be that hard to find? Will they be out on the shelves, or is the only way to get one to ask them to look in the stock rooms?

I was able to get the G1 Jazz just out on the shelf.

Just looking for a little guidance form someone with more experience then me.

They'll be out on shelves. They shouldn't be hard to find, Target usually orders plenty of its exclusives.

Are you sure you want to start collecting? Because once you do your gonna keep on getting more, more, and more. It almost like being addicted to drugs:) And yes, the DCPI is the product number. I don't recalling seeing any store policy that states personnel/staff not allowed to be in the back room getting merchandise for customer before its released date?? I got mine before it hit the shelves. This is what I call catering to customer or quality customer services. Good luck on your TF collection bro!

Yeah man, I can see where it gets addicting. A few days after I saw the movie I went to the store to buy a Prime, but didn't want to pay $40 for a toy (Leader Class was all over at that point, but nothing else). Then down the isle, away from the movie TF's was a classic Prime for $15 ...I bought 8 more since then.

I also make a trip to the parents and went through the attic. I recovered some good ones, but lost some even better ones (little bro got to them). Found some good ones though.. Skywarp, Soundwave, Metroplex, Astrotrain, Constructicons, Insecticons, Dirge, Ramjet, & Mirage.
