so the whole scorponok and blackout combining in alt mode gimmick is pretty cool, but i was bummed that they didnt combine in bot mode. so after some fiddling around, i came up with this:

its a little ghey, esp with the "crotch rocket" blackout now has, but hey, it actually holds up pretty well.

its even possible to attach the rotor pack as well since the peg on scorpys back plugs into the hole. but then you got kibble beyond kibble with that...

This looks sick! I never would have thought this could be possible. I should have kept that "Desert Attack" set with Blackout and Scorponok.

So Scorponok is actually the fabled "detachable Night Viper"?

lol scorponok's probably pretty upset that his tail's articulation isn't good enough to actually do it But hey, I like the figure just for its alt mode, if you can really consider it his alt mode. But I have to say the tail could've been done better, like I duno, classics grimlock that I got the other day in the mail.

But yeah that mode looks pretty cool. My friends would definitely get a few laughs out of that. It comes with spring loaded action too ! Just gotta push its button.

I expected this to be a sequel to "Blackula" or something.

i have both now. does scorps fit on BO's back on any pegs or does he stay on by means of his arms resting on BO's shoulders? i ask this because mine falls off if you give him a bad look or any look at all

he basically hangs on for dear life... but if u position his head correctly, it kind of latches on to the hinge on blackouts back. and the claws fit almost perfectly on to his shoulders. also, scorpy's legs kinda go around the little waist kibble on blackout... see my first post with the thumbs for details...
