oh man....that just completes this as the worst day ive had in a long time. ive had the pleasure of meeting him a few times. not only is he one of my favorite artists, he was a really great guy. i hope they do his service, or at least a service for him, somewhere i can get to, i'd really like to attend

I never read any of his stuff except some Flash. I didn't think it was bad, which means he must've been good.

RIP, Mike Wieringo. Few deserve to die, and I don't believe he's ever done anything to deserve it.

he had some of the best art ive seen. it was distinct but not limited, ya know, when you see it, it is obviously his stuff, but his faces and poses dont all look the same like some other artists like Liefeld or even some other mainstays like Jim Lee and John Romita Jr (not that they arent great artists, but their characters sometimes dont have anything to differentiate the characters).

Wow... that's a shock. Man...
I always liked his art, especially his run on FF with Mark Waid. That's a shame we'll never see it again.
