I purchased it at different times, anyways the times I got it there was a lot on the shelves. Except for the FAB Frenzy, I got both at the same time which there was 4 more on the pegs. Still on the hunt for some Titaniums, Robot Replicas and Voyager Optimus Prime and Megatron. I'm also waiting for TRU or Walmart for the FAB Prime and Bumblebee for my son. At first I wasn't interested but my son always wants mines and I don't want to pay $15 at KB for it and my son can wait and play with mines for now.

While I'm typing my wife is at TRU buying diapers, I asked her to check for any Transformers but she only sees Cyber Slammer Barricade and that Optimus Prime that turns in to a blaster. So I asked her to look for the Allspark candy so I can display it with my Transformers (she got 2 @ $2.19 each). So am I the only one spending this much? Hopefully not, so how much did you spend for your Transformers Movie Toys?

It never ends no matter how much you spend. The MOST challenging thing is to refrain or come to a complete stop. But that will never happen. I'm a TF toy addict like many TF fans.

.....finally getting my hands on a BB 09' Priceless! (well it costs 23.01 on ebay plus shipping)

I've spent about $340, which includes the following from Hasbro's first checklist on their TF site (wish they'd update that list w/ all the new stuff): all Deluxes exc. Wreckage and Proto SS, all Voys, Leader OP, all Legends, 3 FABs, 3 Real Gears, the 3-pack Prime Titanium set, and about 7 3D battle Card packs. On top of that, I got 3 of the newer Dxs, Longarm, Payload, and Arcee.

In addition, and slightly OT, I've prob. spent another 150 on non-movie figs, mostly Alts, Cyb Primus, and Armada OP. My wife would *kill* me if she knew the exent. But you know what, tho, our daughter, my wife, and I still have a roof over our heads, and food and clothing, so what's the harm? Luckily I got a nice raise at work just before the movie toys came out, and my wife got a new better-paying job as well. Plus I manage the checkbook at home. Heh.

I spent about $270.

I'm living in Puerto Rico now for work, and toys are pretty expensive here. Luckily, at the time the TF movie stuff was hitting, I took a trip to SC to visit my parents, and was able to save what I figured to be about $60 by buying toys there.

My friend asked me the other day if they'll ever stop making TFs. I told her once people stop fueling the fire with their money spent on TFs, then yes, they'll stop making them. But as long as there are kids and collectors who buy the things, and it's been going for 20+ years, they're probably not going to stop anytime soon. Besides, they've already got a sequel movie in the works, a new cartoon, and lots of other ideas (please Hasbro make a GI Joe TF crossover. That'd be better than SWTF).

About $400 on movie figures since April 2nd. Not planning on buying anymore since I have all the movie characters, some in multiple versions. Not too big on video game figs or real gear. Would really like to get my hands on Nighwatch Optimus Prime; hopefully he'll be a US release.

I got six delux's and three FABs. I've gone for FABs 'cos they're a cheaper alternative to the more expensive voyagers. It's just a shame FABs are the same price as regular delux's. Tight arse Hasbro!

I think I've spent about $390 on movie toys. I did sell quite a few other TFs that I didn't care to collect any longer to help pay for my movie toys, though. At least that's what I tell my wife.

According to one of the BotCon panels in years past, Hasbro said that the biggest factor in deciding price was the cost of shipping them from China - and since the FABs are the same size/weight...
