Made a search for this, but couldn't find a topic that covered the subject.
Since I'm pretty much new to collecting and eBay is fast becoming my number one source for items, is there a sure way to know when I'm being ripped off? I mean, up to certain point, I do have a price limit depending on what I'm bidding on and I always like to compare and 'windowshop' before I do anything, but is there perhaps an official Price Guide for TF figures, just so I don't screw up too bad? I know it's a longshot, being that it's such a vast universe, but I've seen price guides for other toy collections before, I figured perhaps there is one I can get (hopefully through Amazon which does ship overseas)
Or if there isn't, perhaps a website or at least some basic guidelines....?
Thanks for reading!
(I probably posted this on the wrong part of the forum again, feel free to move it if I did)

There is a price guide, but it's fairly conservative in the values listed. You can find them on Ebay pretty easily.
My best advice: If you want it bad enough, only bid what YOU think it's worth.
Patience is your best friend on Ebay.

Sadly all price guides are out of date buy the time there printed and at the moment T.F.`S are going at crazy prices.
As herno said your best bet is to bid what you are willing to pay & dont get carried away, even the rarest things turn up again on ebay.

OK, thanks for your advice, guys! And you're right about eBay: everything turns up again. I'll jut stick to watching and waiting. I'm still a bit unclear on what to get next anyway, so *shrugs*
