I've been using the new toys for stop motion films, espicially Optimus Prime who is extremely sturdy. Thought You guys would be interested in seeing some of the stuff.

This is from reenacting a scene in the film. In case you're wondering what the original clip was, Its in the link posted right below mine.

Probably my worst one so far but i decided to experiement with stop motion of something in the air. So decided to make starscream transform mid flight. Do let me know what you guys think though i'm aware its not one of the better ones out there.

Those were pretty funny.

Just a note though (and a personal pet peeve) - Don't make the credits as long as the clip itself. It just feels like you cheated us out of that much more fun.

hEH!

Half the people I show these to actually enjoy the credits more as i try to make them humorous. Hence the length. Plus, i never edit music so I try to coordinate with it : )

Thanks for all the kind words. I made another video. This one is Ratchets. i didn't finish it completely but you'll notice that this is much more smoother as i'm working with more frames per second. ratchet is by far, the most superior toy in terms of quality but damn is it tough to make him walk!

Ratchet would look a little better if TFd correctly. His windshield halves are supposed to swing behind him. And Prime's waist isn't connected to him.

These are just things I had to say. Seeing mistransformed TFs hurts sometimes, especially very good ones.

Other than that, very good. Now, let's see you recreate the scene with the Autobots transforming for the first time in front of Sam and Mikaela.

I sort of prefer them being that way. Optimus looks too short otherwise and it looks like his ass sticks out. As for Ratchet, the diretions for him were horrid. I'll look into that windshield thing.

To each his own. But yes. The instructions were horrid for Ratchet. It was really an accident that I found out about it.

You'll be s hocked. The first time, I didn't even know that the windshield seperated. Then I saw someone else's pictures of the toy and noticed the seperation. Seems like he was one step ahead of me. Now it turns out you're 1 step ahead of that guy! Something to look into.

Even the IronHide toy. They say seperate the hood to make them line up. I don't do that. I do it like the movies. I leave them free so instead of lining up, they're loosely hanging and tilted downwards. makes him look more badass

Your Thok is put together wrong, Prime's grey torso leg connector is supposed to flip and attatch to his red peg, and his shoulder pads are not right.

Other than that, great!

Thok walks better with his feet like that. Tried it the other way and he could never balance.
