OK, three questions:
a) Is he any good? Should I get him?
b) If I do get him, what do I need to do to fix him?
c) Does anyone have any pictures of him so I could see whether I should get him or not?
Thanks

a) Yes you should get him. Bear in mind he has his faults (and not to use the instructions, you will break your Megs), but he is Megs and kinda fun for what he is.
b) If you do, you need to remove the spring from the fusion cannon and put it in the side w/ the flail (from L hand to R hand), and find a small spring similar and put that in the L hand for the fusion cannon (I had to do the swap b/c the spring it comes w/ is too strong for the cannon and perfect for the flail. I got a weaker spring from Westlake that works very well for the cannon).
c) see below. I took this picture as proof that I was the first in the country to find Leader Megs at retail, so he does have a soft spot in my heart. Anyway, hope this helps.
EDIT: Oh and welcome to the boards. Glad to have you.

What is it in the instructions that would cause you to break him? (I'll admit that I gave up on the instructions and turned to Youtube to figure out how to transform him).
As for whether he's worth it, well, I guess. But he's my least favorite movie figure along with Blackout.

They definitely do not show you how to correctly auto-morph his legs. The break at the kneecap that moves his feet up into position is the most unnatural and counter-intuitive thing in any TF I can think of. I almost broke mine right out of hte box trying to get that to work and only by sheer luck did I finally figure it out (this coming from someone into TFs for over 10 yrs w/ hundreds of the little buggers). Anyway, once you figure it out it is ok, but don't follow the crappy inst or you will regret it.

Well, a) I got him, b) could I say an explanation of fixing his arms, I'm no good at mods... plus a actual length of a decent spring. Thanks and c) Cheers, shame mine are too big

I did give up on the instructions half way through and just guessed until it works. I didn't break him at all, but it was weird. I just used the picture on the box...
