Dude, he's the size and weight of a brick (and color!). Also, the shipping cost includes insurance plus the cost of boxes, bubble wrap, etc.

As for why I'm dumping them on ebay, basically the fact that the last few figures in the line were nearly impossible to get, plus the fact that it's now a stagnant line with nothing else to get, kind of diminished my interests. I'd rather focus my attentions on upcoming stuff or on patching those big holes in my G1 collection. (Also, getting married and buying a house and getting a real big boy job kind of changes your priorities just a tisch. )

I hear ya tho - been there. I just packed my away in boxes for years and did other things. Now i'm buying a display case and showcasing them. You might find, when you have a son and he starts to turn 5, you might have had a nice common interest tho - and you could give them to him over time and watch him enjoy them also. On a serious note, choosing the right woman is honestly the most important decision you will make in your life. More so than your schooling, job choices, or buying a house or anything. A good woman will challenge you and keep you grounded, matured and be a blessing in your life thru good and bad. But choose the wrong one, and it can tear your life apart - not to mention your finances. You can change jobs, buy/sell houses, but you lose the woman you marry, and the next 20 years of your financial life will be ruined - especially if kids are involved. I hope you got a good one. Good luck, i am sure they will all sell, but shipping charges are kind of high, especially for the binaltech.

I hate to say it, but all we're going to find nowdays are higher shipping charges. I'm paying out the nose to have Blot shipped to me any more, no matter WHO I buy stuff from.

You can thank the rising cost of fuel for shipping costs.

You can also thank ebay for taking a bigger and bigger cut of the final auction price, leading sellers to make up for it in shipping costs that ebay can't get their hands on.

Hey, everyone - just a little bump to let you know there's about a day left and there are still some pretty decent deals there, IMHO - nine or so are still under ten bucks. Also, yes, shipping seems a little steep, but it includes insurance, etc.
