Hi guys, I need your help. I recently bought myself an MP-4 Convoy on ebay.de
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=250142940811The problem is, that when I received the package an hour ago, it was empty- there was a big MP Prime box and two smaller for robot and trailer.
The seller says he included everything and the weight he saw on the post (1,490 kg) is allright in his opinion. The weight written in Germany is the same as weight written in Poland when it came to polish post (again, 1,490 kg)
So i have to ask those of you, who had physical contact with that MP, is such a weight normal for a MIB MP-4 Convoy set? I mean, I think that with all those accesories, trailer and die-cast parts, it should be at leats twice this heavy.... am I right?

uh... I would love to help, but my american brain can not comprehend Kilograms. Convert it for me and I might be able to help. MP04 should way at least 3.5 pounds

1 Kilo = 2 pounds.

the package is as heavy as Hot Rod suggests, but that stll doen't make sense- if the whole MISB shoul be that heavy, than why an TF-less box with paper instead of Prime, accesories and trailer makes the same weight...
doh... I must work harder on this case...

Well the package with all the foam and what not probably would weight 2-3 pounds, so a 3.5 to 4 pound toy on top of that gets you up to around 7 pounds.

Have you measured the exact weight of what you got? If the package you received weighs less than the amount paid for, perhaps someone along the way helped himself to your toys. After all, if the seller is afoul, he wouldn't have paid more shipping than he would have needed to.

Nor could he have convinced the post office to lie for him on the weight.

Wait. I'm confused. Wasn't the auction for a full MP-04 figure, trailer, and all? And you ended up with empty boxes? I have that correct...do I not?
So shouldn't you be more worried about not receiving the figure and it's pieces and paying for empty boxes, rather than how much the damned thing should weigh?

he's worried about the weight because he wants to know how to go after, the guy or the postal service
i'd think that an mp4 would weight a bit more than that btw, my 20th prime feels like he weighs more.

I just checked the weight of my MP Prime. I just checked the figure - without any accessories, box or trailer - the weight was 1,2 kg!!!
So The box, accessories and the trailer with the outer packaging have 0,3 kg left: this can't be!
I also had the same problems once with a figure, but mine was stolen out of the package.
This is important: Did you check the package outside? Is it cut somewhere? Is it damaged somewhere?
It will be very difficult for you to proof that. Maybe the seller didn't put it in, maybe he did?!?
Don't get me wrong, but Poland is known for having a lot of thiefs (they say in Germany)...
I dealed with this seller a few times - never had any problems.
Did you contact him? Tell him that the package weight isn't right - it has to weigh over 2kg for sure!!!

Ok, now I'm hell sure, that I was cheated by the seller- according to transport documents. this package had weight of 1,5 kg when it left Germany and the same weight was observed in Polish Post. So there's no way someone could open the box before me and swap the content- because it's impossible that the TF is only 100 g heavy (I checked the whole package with only paper from inside removed- 1,4 kg).
And you know what? The seller says that this weight is correct and that's the total weight of the whole set (he told me that both by mail and on the phone when we talked). Riiight...
So now I'm beginning the next phase of investigation. I already wrote to my Ebay to check this case and I'm also writing the mail to the seller about this. I'm telling you guys, I'm the Poland's main toydude and I won't leave this case without a fight

At least I'll do as much as possible...
