I take it most of us have more in life than just Transformers. I have quite a few, myself:
- Marvel Legends, although I am no completist at all, I do however have the Sentinel complete
- Gundam, my favorite being the Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amatu
- I'm a fan of the Suzumiya Haruhi series, and I recently got myself a 1/8 scale statue of the main character.
- I have the Collected Works of William Shakespeare, which I thoroughly enjoy.
- Same goes for Dan Simmons and his Hyperion Cantos, and the Ilium series.
Come to think of it, most of my favorite things come in the form of books, not action figures per se.
What are your most treasured things outside of TFs?

-Space shuttles, of all kinds and sizes. I have some tiny little ones about 1-1/2in long, a giant Megablocks one about 30in. long, and everything in between- inflatables, Legos, even a U-Haul truck that transforms into a space shuttle and 5 transforming shuttles, which dovetail nicely into my TF habit hobby.
-Die-cast model cars, esp. Pontiacs. I only have a few large 1/18th and 1/24th scale, but they are on prominent display in our living room and bedroom. My 100 or so 1/64th scales are in cases.
-Gundam. I just love the detail and articulation. I have about 20 of the 4-1/2in ones, 4 Arch Enemies, 4 PEZ dispensers, and 2 of the small-scale space carriers.
-Star Wars/Star Trek. Haven't been very active recently, but I'll always love these 2 lines.
-Military toys and figures. I have 10 12in military figures, including a few high-end Dragon and Blue Box ones, as well as some cheaper ones, but lots and lots of weapons, uniforms, etc. Also a handful of nice detailed small die-cast vehicles.
You might notice that my current TF kick reaches across and into most of my other collecting hobbies- SW TFs, space shuttle TFs, detailed car TFs, miltary TFs. That's a big reason why TFs are so very cool to me.

oh geez, i got all kinds of stuff, i collect marvel and dc figures of all kinds, street fighter stuff, misc dragon paraphenalia, swords of all kinds (the Kadaj double sword is a personal favorite), posters, video games, state quarters, soon to start on the presidential dollars, i do a little GI Joe still, i dont really have as much anime stuff as i used to but i'd like to get back started with that, all my gundams are in storage so i really dont mess with those anymore, same with my DBZ stuff, i still occasionally collect trading cards and some CCGs, ive also calmed down considerably on my comic book collection, spending a little over $100 per month as opposed to per week
as for my favorite, i guess it varies by day, but over all, my favorite item would probably Inhumans #1 (the 1st marvel knights series), ive got multiple copies of it, and it just seems to make me feel good when i read it

Mine doesn't have his little ring and disc apparatus, so even if I put batteries in it it's not good for anything. ROB is just a display piece (for now). I DO have a working Power Pad, but no Power Glove as of yet.

Used to collect an assload of comics, but decidedly gave up on it. I was spending way too much money on them, generally $2-300 a month, and that was after my 40% discount at the comic shop...actual cover price would have put me in the poor house real quick like.
I couldn't afford both, so comics got the axe, and my Transformers collection continues to grow. I have a few friends still heavily into comics, so I pretty much get to read most of what I want. Still need to get rid of my comic collection one day, to make more room in storage for toys!!
My other major passion is Music. I LOVE MUSIC. All kinds of music: Rock, Hip Hop, Jazz, R&B, Alternative, Punk, Classical, Metal, Electronia, Industrial, Reggae, Afrobeat, and even some Pop and Country. I hate the categorization of music though, when I get asked what kind of music I prefer, typical responce is more or less "Good Music, I don't care as long as it's good, it comes in all forms and genres, all I need is for it to have passion and talent." I'm almost to 2000 albums right now. One of these days I'll go back and grab all of the great Vinyl I've missed throughout the years, I really like records, there's a sound that nothing else can reproduce.

Comic books. I collect by writer. I have a pretty complete collection of Grant Morrison's American stuff, got plenty of Miller and Moore. Lots of Transformers
I also gravitate towards Metafictitious stories, thus the Morrison obsession.
My favorite non-transformers Toy right now is my Animal Man figure from the 52 collection... yes I really like Grant Morrison's work.

I've got a fondness for toy cars, especially toy police cars, though I don't get them often, usually depends on if I see something really nice.
I love books, so I get what I can at a low price. I love Star Trek, so sometimes if the model has a lot of detail, I'll pick up a model. Very fond of the Galaxy X Class model I was given for my birthday, the detail is remarkable.
And that's really about it, though I do sometimes pick up keyrings and badges, no idea why, I just do.

I'm winding down my TF collecting and starting to focus on 1:18 scale or matching figs like G.I. Hot Wheels and various 1:64 diecast cars- Started years ago with Firebirds. Moved on to Vettes and now onto the new Camaro. I'm done with that so it seems for now my HW collection is finished up. Well, till I find the next thing that attracts me.
GI Joe - Mostly Cobra Commander but I did buy the Cobra 5 pack. I've an odd habit of buying him due to his voice being done by the same guy that did Starscream back in the day. Nostalgia....
Various mech figures and models - Gundam, Zoids, Patlabor, EVA...... Usually just one or a few from each line with inspired designs and good articulation. I'm rather picky.
Certain Comic Characters - Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider, Venom...
Video Games - PS, PS2, Jaguar, SNES and all things from the Big N since, X-box.....
It's a bit ridiculous actually because I have a little bit of everything...miniature train sets, Hot Wheels interanlly powered cars and track sets (can't remember the name and don't feel like digging up the box), HO scale slot cars, Tamiya slot cars <highly recommended btw, upgradable RC's of various sizes....I live in my youth to tell you the truth.

Relax It's Only Toy Soldiers [intellectual property of Luke and Paul Giles]...
As for collecting:
Comics. Many, many comics.
Megadeth albums - currently trying to get their entire discography on CD, plus a pre-1995 copy of Killing is my Business... fo the since-deleted cover of 'These Boots Are Made For Walking', the one that nearly got them in legal trouble.
Philip K. Dick novels - I have almost everything he ever published, barring the non-science fiction stuff.
Macfarlane toys - not sets, just whatever takes my fancy.
SD Gundams - they bring a smile to my face...
Sci-fi/fantasy wargames minatures/scale models - this hooby's getting stupidly expensive; my spend on this has dropped considerably over the last couple of years.

Give the World of Warcraft cards a try - better game, better artwork - for example, the first base set, 'Heroes of Azeroth', has some super-pervy artwork by Clint Langley (who also seems to be a mainline artist on the other sets released subsequently), plus character cards by the like of Greg Staples and Todd Macfarlane...

Once, I told myself I wasn't interested in moving outside the TF Classics line. I got into Energon/Armada/Cybertron/etc, and thought I wouldn't move into Beast Wars, but then I saw Beast Wars and had to have some. Then I thought I would surely never buy a non-transforming Transformer, but Robot Heroes were cute, and it was a small step from that to Revoltechs and statues. I thought, well, I'd never go outside the Transformers. Then I read the TF/GI Joe crossovers and had to have a few figures. It wasn't long until I was picking up Macross/Robotech figures here and there. At this point I just collect toys with a heavy Transformers bias. I have very few superheroes and villains because I'm a little picky about comics, but I look regularly. I'm kicking myself for passing up a bobble-head Teen Titans Cyborg at Big Lots, today. He even said "I got the sonic if you got the boom!"
