Full Version: It's my Jazz, but it's not my Jazz!

Hey everyone, something odd has happened with one of my recent customs, the buyer who purchased Jazz is re-selling him.... twice! He has it listed as 'Custom Final Battle Jazz by jin-saotome' http://cgi.ebay.com/Custom-Final-Battle-Ja...1QQcmdZViewItem and swiped my photos and original auction text.

But oddly enough he already sold this figure once before, and for a profit: http://cgi.ebay.com/Custom-Final-Battle-Ja...1QQcmdZViewItem

While I have no problem with people reselling or copying my work, this confuses people when they use my exact pics and auction text. Just letting you know while this may be my Jazz custom, I'm not the one selling it and it's already been sold once before, so ask questions before bidding.

i saw that last night and thought about pming you about it, but over the night i'd forgot about it. i figured you'd probably sold it to him.

i'd message him and see what's up
Jin Saotome
I did, he won't respond. Can't really report him because he's not doing anything wrong per-say, aside from using my images. I don't want to seem like an ass and hassle him over just that tho.
Buddykiller
yea, there really isnt' anything you can do other than talking to him. that sucks though, hopefully his actions won't tarnish your name thumbsup1.gif

People are mostly bright enough to blame the seller and not the maker of toys.

Oh damn.

Now the universe explodes!

LOL

i was thinking more along the lines of either thinking the seller is him, or associated with him

Listing has been removed. But he made himself a pretty hefty little profit there. Guess it just goes to show the quality of your worj Jin.
Talkie Toaster
