I thought this sold
http://cgi.ebay.com/The-Ultimate-Boxed-G1-...1QQcmdZViewItemWell, there's some new additions to the auction. Half the sale goes to EJ AIDS foundation. And, It seems it's now a bid with BIN as opposed to just BIN.
I still think it's a raw deal but the inclusion of the donation to the AIDS foundation is good.

The AIDS foundation thing is nonsense. I didn't care when the money was all going to her and her debts. The stuff in that auction is still not worth a million dollars and the fact that no one has met the reserve price yet, or used "buy it now" is proof. I wish she would lose delusion of hers and sell them off one by one like a normal person.
I see that someone asked if they could buy the Fort Max on its own, but she refused. She probably could have had an instant sale right there.

I knew that no one was really going to pay a mil for that. It's a very nice collection, but that's way more than it's worth. Does anyone really believe that a 5 year old accidentally bought the last one? Sounds a little fishy.

If he left them SEALED like he should have instead of "inspected" load of bull, he could demand more if these sold individually. But opened even as a lot, I would never pay this much. Would you trust someone who said they just "inspected" it? Riight.
As for the AIDs bit, who cares? Not to be overly crass but this is not a charity auction even if they claim it to be. Anyone can claim it's for charity, yeah *lol* I AM THE CHARITY! Do we ever see the actual tax forms? Hey a buyer has the right to know. Even if they aren't lying it is sad people think adding two bits about a charitable cause makes bidding on their auction more worthy than someone elses.

$100 says one of those ebay stores buys them and sales them off individually for 2x their value.

When I first ran into this auction I thought it was a mistake.
But now that I've read more about, I still think it's a mistake.
Idiot seller. Not only he/she thinks there's some geek out there with a pocketful of money willing to squander a million on eBay, but that that same geek is also a huge TFs fan (Bill Gates, do you like Transformers, Bill????)

The AIDS (thats a capital S there) is bunk simple because of the "a girl can dream" line. If this was a complete run of G1 all minty, then I could see it hitting the quarter-half million mark. It is a dream for sure. The artifacts likely turned off a lot of bidders... except for Raksha... I wonder if she bid on this....

It looks like a legitimate bidder actually won the auction for $50,000.

Thank GOD it's over. I hope the guy who won this hurries up and pays the Starscream though, I don't want to get anymore of her stupid SPAM emails that she sent out everytime she relisted the damn thing.
I do find it very funny that she started the bid much lower and she only got 1 BID!! This collection is not even worth the $50,000 the guy bid for it (unless of course he's going to get the majority AFA'd for reselling).
For the love of almighty jehovah though, I hope this guy actually pays. Or we'll be seeing this continue on and on and on..........

8-10-07 update: Hey everybody--I may have lost my only bidder last night (what's up with that?), but I gained Entertainment Weekly's "Obsessive Fan of the Week--Transformers" title in this week's issue (on newsstands NOW.) Two words: SUH WEET!!!
Well, the attention whore got herself another two seconds of fame...

She'd almost be better off to create a new eBay account and split it up at this point. How funny that she got stiffed. Again. Wonder if she's going to leave a neg.

Because a bunch of barely poseable toys made of clunky die-cast metal that look nothing like their show counterparts are worth a million dollars.

The sob story sounds like bullBlot, to me -- I don't want to sound insensitive, but they probably made it up so they can have a slim shot of getting that much profit.
Unless this was like, EVERY Transformers toy from G1 to, say, Cybertron, then no, that so ain't worth it. Stupid woman...

Emerje posted an old update (the date was 10 August), it's still unclear whether the "raviscollectibles" ended up being legit. Looking at their feedback they sell a lot of old Transformers, but none are particularly high end.
I think it will be a close call to get the money back - maybe if the MISB ones are AFA graded and sell well.

Yeah, looks like I made a mistake and read the bid history wrong. She had three bids and two of them were retracted.
