if optimus spark was placed in megatron and megatrons spark was placed in optimus would they swap minds or would they just be the same?

IMO, Spark=Soul. IOW, They'd be personality swapped. "New packaging, same product."

Can I just ask what's with all these random questions. This and all those "physics" ones?
I just wish to understand, that's all. Nothing more.
BTW, if this is to build some type of robot of your own, good luck

I think it's a good question. Is it their soul or their mind? BM megs did some spark body swapping, but tarantulus used to "reprogram" maximal protoforms.
I mean it could be like...
Prime and Megs swap sparks.
Megs gets up that morning and goes "You, know I've been rethinking this whole conquest thing. I mean, why do WE have to be in charge?"
While Prime calls Bumblebee in to his office: "That F-ing human you hang out with has got to go. In fact I'm gettin' pretty sick of all those damn things..."

There's no Matrix in the movie.
Spark swapping sounds really dirty IMO.
