If it were real, I would buy it in a second. However, the head looks suspiciously like the one Max Factory's 1/8 figure has. Also, I don't recall her ever wearing an outfit like that (which, considering the amount of cos-play she does, is pretty amazing). It does, however, remind me of the Mai-Otome outfits. Is it a kitbash, or not?

So, yeah, I did some more research myself... Turned out, this is genuine. The toy is called "Ultra Hero Haruhi" (how fitting), and it comes from a game featuring her, set to appear on the PS2(and perhaps the Wii), which involves the SOS-dan as Haruhi pretends to be a science fiction heroine.
