That's awesome! I am the host of NYC Transformers Meetup. I used to have frequent meetups when I first started hosting, but due to low rsvping and poor turnout, I now only host annually. Plust Meetup.com is too expensive. Once you get a Fan Member base going, I suggest moving it to myspace, where you don't have to pay those ridiculous fees for owning a group, and the group will have a lot more exposure on myspace and grow a lot quicker. However, if you can afford to do both, then do it! Hope this helps! ;-)

Our first meetup has came and gone. We had 5 people attend on Sunday, and we went to watch Transformers The Movie. Was nice going and watching the movie with other fans. Look forward to next months meetup, hope more people can attend.
