heres my entry into TFWire's TF Movie DVD cover contest.



basically a collage of high-res images from Google, some screencaps from the final trailer, and some scans from the back of The Hulk DVD.

That's really good. You should try and see if they'll accept that for the official cover. Of course, I'd get rid of the "Voyager Class" thing.

Yeah and one side it says Voyager on the other Deluxe! But damn that's a freaking awesome cover. I might print for my bootleg too!

well, the contest winner was announced... wasn't me...

but the winner was deserved... if ur a member of the TFwire board, you can see all the entries and download FULL-RES images of em, which is pretty cool.

why just have 1 bootleg cover when you can have 10? hehe.

The "winner" cover is LAME. Yours is much better.

Your front cover, with the top of the winner's front would be good. As for the back, well, aside from the unrealistic "over 200,000 deleted scenes", it's good. But the thing is, simplicity sometimes is also a good thing, and the one from the back of the winner's is simple, yet effective. Yours is very busy (not that that never works...it does sometimes).

End result, I like 'em both

i agree, the winner scored with that traditional banner header and the simplicity of the back cover. I really think that (and my obviously superior front cover ) would make the best package...

Is there any word yet of when the DVD will be released. I checked comingsoon.net and it isn't even listed to be released all the way up to January. Usually they have it TBA when they aren't sure. Unless they haven't recieved word yet either.

the same place you get other copyrighted material. torrent, irc, or for the adventurous, limewire.

i wouldn't trust anything from limewire though.

People just rip the online versions to DVDs & print up the disc & covers. (I'm assuming that's what you meant, not just the online versions?)

Well, where is the best online version?

All the usual legally dubious sites should have them updated quite regularly. Non have been anywhere near as good as watching it in the cinema though IMO. I haven't been able to watch the pirated versions since I saw it on the big screen. They're good for referring to though. (Until the DVD comes out that is!)
