with the soon release of brawl, do you think we will get a leader class blackout figure. i know it was posted earlier that hasbro has plans of rereleasing the movie figs with items that were'nt released in the first waves...so can we get a leader class that will fit deluxe scorpinoks inside, and have movie acurate detail..........?

this would be so sweet
Mom
no.

I highly doubt they're going to release more than four Leader toys this year; Prime, Megatron, Brawl/Devastator/Brawlinator/almost-indestructable-tank-guy, night watch Prime.

Maybe in the rerelease/remold, he'll come with better folding rotor blades, a rotor blade weapon that's individual from his actual back, and his belly and arm guns. And no, this does not involve him being upgraded to Leader Class.

And maybe Ratchet with his arm gun and his saw blades of doom.

Ok.. so it won't be this year.. but how bout next year.. rereleased as a supreme class or a leader class with alot of kibble.

My thoughts exactly about ratchet and blackout. I thought it was pretty cool when ratchet shot brawl up and cut a piece of him off. Though the big spinning back piece of death hurts blackout for me more than the giant clamp and "axe" on ratchet. Ratchet just overall is a much better designed and built figure. Blackout on the other hand has a bigger list of issues beside his weapons which were discussed in another thread.

Well, in all honesty, Ratchet would have been much better if at least his other arm had a little gun come out of it and still kept his axe and clamp. Then he at least has something to fire alongside the other Autobots (and Jazz's weapon can kind of double as both a sword and a blaster/rifle/cannon/whatever). I feel he's the one member of the group that can't provide any assiting fire and is the one that's got to stay behind (though that makes sense since he's the medic). But still, I want my Ratchet to have his gun and his saw blades of doom. I like that spin attack he did in the movie. I'd love to recreate that with my figure against Leader Brawl. Of course, I'd love to recreat that whole seen with Ratchet/Ironhide/Jazz all fighting Brawl at the same time.

I need not say anything more about Blackout other than he needs a better rotor blade weapon that spins and is smaller like in the movie. Either way, I hope Hasbro is listening and when they rerelease the figures with new stuff, they'll do a better job (though at that point I may wind up regretting getting V1 figures...then again, I could always sell them).

I don't think we'll be seeing any more size upgrades after Brawlistator.

id buy it if,,

1 it had that ID number stamped on the side that they used to identify that the same chopper had been shot down the month befor

2 DX scorpy could fit inside him

3 they improved the automorph parts

4 they removed the tail part of the back pack so that he looked closer to the movie model

5 added the blade weapons he used

i don't see why they didn't do this in the first place, yeah sure they did need to make a bigger brawl but they could have done a small blackout to begin with and a voyager Brawl so blackout could have been tall
UncleJoe420
I still say they should've made all the toys to scale with each other - but that would probably never happen in my lifetime.. icon_sad.gif

my point is blackout is suppose to be the largest decepticon in the movie, so it would make since to give him a bigger figure to boot.( i know it a lot to sak for hasbro) considering you got payed a fat 85 mill. this should help with makeing more fig and more paint applications !!

Rerelease/remold of Blackout is going to be Evac (the blue and orange guy from Cybertron).

Evac could also easily be described as the orange Autobot who turned into a helicopter.

But yes. I know that that repaint/remold is planned, but if that's what they meant, then damn. If they meant something else like re-releasing the figures with new features for each of them, then bring on Ver. 2 of Blackout.
