I kinda like Linkin Park's song in the movie. It sounded more like rock. It fits well with the movie. Punk, alternative and rap rarely works in movies like this. I'm they didn't use some rap / or really trying alternative song. I like fity and all but its rarer that a rap working well as an action movie specially if it deals with transformers or other cartoon and game properties. Remember streetfighter the animated movie. the american release was crapped on by grunge.

if it was good charlotte, i would have screemed at the ushers to pass me a barf bag!!

maybe if they had Megan Fox grinding to some Akon maybe that could change my mind tounge1.gif

Well - clips of:
Goo Goo Dolls - Before It's Too Late (During one of the Sam & Mikela scenes)
Mike Shinooa - Second to None --- (Bumblebee's Boxing Song)
Linkin Park - What I've Done --- (Prime's Ending Signal/Dialogue)
The Used - Pretty Handsome Awkward --- (Bumblebee & Barricade chase scene)

Are all in the movie at different points.

I stayed for the credits during one of my viewings to see how many people were involved (and there were so many). They played a song I'm pretty sure was Disturbed. I know Disturbed had a song called "This Moment" on the soundtrack. And Disturbed is a good band IMO.

During the credits they play:
Smashing Pumpkins - Doomsday Clock
Disturbed - This Moment

And I think a 3rd Song - I just don't remember what it was.

I cannot find this soundtrack ANYWHERE. Granted, I've only looked at Target and Walmart.

meh, it's a waste of time. for an album it's horrible, i guess it's about par for a soundtrack though. save your money for the score it's bound to be far superior.

Thank god for Limewire. Let's me pick and choose what songs I want. I also am then able to put them on my MP3 player biggrintf.gif

But the actual score, I'm pretty sure I'll pick that up. I like the music from the Autobots landing and their introduction. I also like the music that's played when Prime rips off the roof of the S7 vehicle and Sam introduces him to the agents.

Let's just hope it comes out, and soon.

It's also on the Kill Bill Soundtrack. It's listed as "Battle Without Honor or Humaniy" by Tomoyasu Hotei. Not sure if there are other names for it elsewhere. I'm pretty sure that's the same one.

I'm thinking it will be months, as they still seemed to be working on it when the announcement came out (I got the feeling they were waiting to see if the movie would do really well before even bothering).
