as said at the link, that's currently all we know. DC has issued no statements about the image. Yet.

y'know, after House of M, Decimation, Civil War, WWH, the skrull thing, Identity Crisis, Infinite Crisis, and others, I'm tired of these company wide, status quo changing crossovers. Why not slow down and let the individual titles deal with the consequences of these stories for more than 3 or 4 months?

agreed, big mega events are only important if they are spaced out, if there is always a mega event going on, then the significance of each one is diminished

let's see, we had Identity Crisis, the four Countdown mini-series, Infinite Crisis, 52, Countdown, and now Final Crisis. I hope this is the end of the chain of mega-events for a while. I don't mind big events like Amazons Attack or the Lightning Saga, but we don't need anymore "Crises"

*Shrug* Thing is, the Legion already mentioned that the Infinite Crisis was the 'middle' Crisis. Better to get that out of the way now, before management changes again, and all the fore shading subsequently falling flat.

Seriously. An event is only an event if it doesn't happen every 3 months. If not, then it becomes a "plot point" or even worse... a "schedule."

Superman: "Lessee... oh crap, it's September!"
Batman: "Is that when The Great Disaster happens, or are we still Crisising?"

When was that said, and by which Legion: the "original" Legion seen in "Lightning Saga" or the "Threeboot" Legion which has it's own monthly comic?

This all makes no sense. The second Crisis happened when all the characters who were erased by the Crisis on Inifnite Earths popped out of the Psycho Pirates Head in Animal Man #23.

I heard something went on with Psycho Pirate, and from what I gathered, what had happened could have led to a Crisis, but was stopped in time.

BG: It was said by the Lightning Saga LoSH, but I couldn't tell you which issue. But it was in either JLA or JSA, and fairly recent. icon_wink.gif

I prefer the ones like Annihilation, where you wouldn't see most or all of the characters in a monthly series outside of the event.
