The last time I shipped something out, about a couple weeks ago, it was a 16 x 16 box with insurance for 400 bucks. 36 dollars to ship it from Rhode Island to Colorado. Back in 2000, it cost about half as much, and that was shipping a larger package from St. Paul Minnesota to Colorado.

Yeah, shipping has gotten way more expensive, especially in the last year.

Blame the oil companies. Oil goes up, Shipping goes up. That also happens to be why they reaised the price of stamps again.

I ordered one as well. It's not much more than what I paid for Nemesis Prime last year on ebay, and every ebay pre-ordered is at least $10 more with higher shipping costs.

I would LOVE one of those, love the Ford GT Alt, but that's just nuts. I try to keep my single TF buys around $35 or less so they go under the wife's radar. This thing would light me up like an Iraqi missile battery.

So will HTS' be going on sale before BBTS' ships? I'm going to go ahead and preorder one so I don't get stuck with every Alternator but one, but I'm willing to put out the effort to get one for $35 and cancel this monstrosity if at all possible.
