well apparently the JLA are in the Batman now. Which I have mixed feelings about: I'm glad they're back in animation, but what was the point of cancelling JLU to only have a new animated version (which looks very similar in style) less than a year later? Especially when there was nothing wrong with the old version.
JLA
Blitz
bad request'D

personally i find it a shame they stopped the old show it was awesome but so long as they get back on track and keep going i don't mind the switch

Hal made an appearance in the JLU episode "The Once and Future Thing," Part 2

Sorry, but it's a different continuity, different style, and different voice actors. For me, it'll be just as much "the right track" as The Batman is. Batman: TAS, Superman, Batman Beyond, Justice League, and JLU were as good as it gets. The Batman is just a pale imitation, as is this new league

i enjoy guest characters on cartoons, but if they try to put too much focus on the JL it will loose the point of being about Batman, which i feel is counter productive since, as mentioned before, they could have just left the JLU running if they wanted a show focused on the JL

Superman and Aquaman will be in it as well. I'm sorry, but I really don't like The Batman, and this makes me dislike it even more

The Batman was ok, on the note of fireing the Justice League into it aswell, that seems a bit half-arsed. JLU was fairly good on its own, just seems like budget cuts or some Blot to me.........

You know, JLU was such a fanboy show it's not funny. It really didn't work as a kid series....

kids I know loved it, it was really cool to hear kids talk about characters like the Question and Green Arrow as being some of their favorites.

Never cared/liked the Batman but season 4 however may hold some interest. Really enjoyed Bruce Timm's work with Teen Titans so seasons 4/5 may be a win.

IMO Justice League was a much better show than Unlimited. Unlimited had it's moments but seeing how it ultimately degraded into the scifi comedy in the last season was pretty painful. Teen Titan's managed to be more serious in it's final season that Unlimited had any hope of being. Dear God Flash switches personality's with Lex Luthor, Gorilla Grod wants to transform everyone into apes, Lex Luthor presents Darksied with true enlightenment/purpose???? What the Powerglide PEOPLE???? 07laugh.gif

the final season was what the creators wanted it to be, a fun tour of the DC Universe. The previous season was dark enough with the whole Cadmus arc, which was awesome, now it was time for some fun good guys vs bad guys adventures. And that's exactly what it was. You got to see Black Hawk Island, Skartaris, Nanda Parbit, Central City, Bludhaven, the 30th Century. And yeah, Grodd's idea was lame, that's why Lex shot him. As for Darksied, that's all he's ever wanted, the Anti-Life Equation, since Jack Kirby created him. It was very true to the character. And Flash switching with Lex was great, especially since Michael Rosenbaum (Flash) plays Lex on Smallville. One of my fav eps was Patriot Act which turned Eiling into his "The General" persona as seen in Grant Morrison's run on JLA, and was an homage to the original Seven Soldiers of Victory by using the JLU's version of those heroes. And it was cool seeing villains from the DCU that you will never, EVER, see animated again. Like Angle Man and Hellgrammite. Just as the first season of JLU had an endless who's who of superheroes, this season was the who's who of supervillains. Plus it had Hawkman thumbsup1.gif
