topic says it all im thinking about going to botcon next year and im wondering if anyone has done the math on how much it would all cost?

all i know is you need to start saving now...........

Depending on flights, accomodation and entry + if you want the packs you could be looking up to £2,000 maybe more

... might not bother if it crosses the £1000 mark

and that's why hasbro need to start offering a bit more for us convention wise

wasnt thier a europe botcon years ago (sorta wish i was a collector then)

i'm not sure. i know that transforce went someway to be more similar to botcon than autoassembely

shame thier both cancelled this year since ive never been to a TF convention and id like to give it a go

Think of the amount of money it costs to go to Botcon and what you could spend it on in terms of TFs.

As much as I would like to go (would do If I included it in a family holiday or something) I would just blow the cash on some TFs straight up instead.

yeah i know for that sorta money i could get any TF that would be released at the con but thiers also all the cool proto types, shows, etc

Try this:

1/save your money
2/ come to japan
3/ spend like a crazy man all your cash at shops like "liberty" in akaihabara or at a japanese toy fair, like "wonderfestival".
4/ spend the night drinking asahi super dry in a pub surrounded by pretty japanese vixens and maybe one on your arm too.

Sound better than botcon now?
