I was just thinking about those "real-life" drawings of the South Park boys (courtesy tvsquad)...

and i was Just wondering if anyone's tried drawing human versions of the Transformers. You know, like how prime would look if he were a homo sapien (and wearing red and blue armor or sumn).

oh wait, guess that would just be captain america.. hehe.

Optimus Prime would look like Pauly Shore.

Yep, I am pretty sure, that turning them into TF Girls is not what he wants. More like Prime as a strong, powerfully built mature human male, Ironhide as a much older man, still powerfully built, but probably a bit more stout, etc. It would hazard to say, that is more what Teletran is looking for, not sexy girls cosplaying in armored battle bikinis that look like TF armor.

What about the episode where Magnus, Arcee, Springer, and Hot Rod got turned into humans? Something like that?

Big Tittied Hippie Chick Bumblebee is funny now thinking of it in that context. LOL.

But Ratchet, Prowl, Jazz, and Wheeljack's all seemed to be awesome representations of them as humans.

Just some ideas:

Ironhide: 5'10" stocky Texas Ranger in his 50's.

Optimus: 6'4" 'Heroically' built leader in his late 30's

Bumblebee: 5'3" stocky 19 year old "New Recruit"

Grimlock: A 6'8" Conan the Barbarian in grunge attire

Jazz: 5'9" Fun-loving, happy Black Man in mid 30's.

Kup: 5'8" Grumpy, Old Serviceman in his 60's.

Those are definately nearly dead on, except for Prime and Ironhide. I would put Ironhide about the same age as Kup, in his 60s, and Prime in his late 40s. Prime is basically a General, and you don't hit that rank until you are in your late 40s if you're lucky. You might make Colonel by your mid 40s, but you're lucky to reach even Brigadier General by age 50. The rest of their description is dead on though.

i agree bout prime.. ironhide i could see either way, either retired 60s serviceman, or ranger near the end of his prime...

How do you figure that one? Hound is an outdoorsman, an explorer and naturalist, not a desk jocky. If Hound were human he would look more like Steve Irwin or Crocodile Dundee, not Professor Schytzengigles.
tentagil
I gotta agree with Tramp on that one about Hound (did I jsut say that). And lets face it, Prime is John Wayne. Grab a pic of John Wayne from a war movie and you've got Human Prime.
caff06
If any autobot is a happy go lucky programmer, it'd have to be perceptor. and i too agree with Tramp on what the human version of hound would be.
Terrorcon Blot
Didn't mean it like that, sorry. Had one of those people who made me think of Hound.

I see it more that Hound is wonderfully jovial. He loves humans and stuff, so he's very approachable. However, his sentiments aren't 100% shared with the rest of the Autobots, so he's kind of a "nerd" to them. Eh. Never mind it.
Hobbes-timus Prime
I'm with Blot. Hound always seemed happier studying dinosaurs and making holograms...those aren't "outdoors" activities.

You have never read his boi then. Hound is an avid naturalist. Here is a quote: "Whether he is penetrating an enemy outpost as a scout, or just exploring the landscape in his personal time, Hound continually marvels at the natural beauty that exists in the Earth's forests, seas, and animal kingdom. Cybertron has been a burned-out, war-torn husk for so longthat Hound can barely remember what it looked like before the fighting started. The virgin, unspoiled wonders of Earth seemed so far removed from those battle-scarred metallic plains that Hound fell instantly in love with the world upon awakening, eagerly absorbing fascinating detail after detail about his new home."

Look at what Hound makes holograms out of too. They're all topographic maps of wilderness areas he has personally explored, or enemy outposts. Dinosaurs too are nature, which is fascinating to him. He loves nature in all its glory.
Hobbes-timus Prime
Transformer toy bios and the way they were depicted in the show are often contradictory.

I think show Hound is pretty spot on to what Blot described, thanks.

I mean, does anyone really think of Soundwave as a blackmailer? He was never depicted as "Despised by all other Decepticons." Yet his bio describes him that way.

This particular thread topic has no right or wrong, so let's not go crazy and derail it by trying to prove each other wrong.
Terrorcon Blot
Really, I'm just for making the "human" bots more human. Not all of them are unconquerable pillars of manliness, perfect pieces of machismo who even as mere men are still gods.

Mirage, for instance. He's a snob. Rich, enjoys hunting on his estate. Ergo: Lean. Perhaps tall. I see a long ponytail in the back (the way G1 Mirage had his "ponytail".

Gears: Gears can made anyway. He's short, a complainer. So he might have a few crow's feet under his eyes, perhaps a bit of thinning hair, and a cigarette in his mouth often.

Grapple. This is where I would diverge from people. He likes to build buildings, design blueprints, and turns into a crane, so a lot of people would say "Hey! Make him a construction foreman!"
I wouldn't. He likes to design, but his building seems to stop at models in my mind. A sculptor as much as an architect. A little pale, because he stays inside a lot, toiling over his designs and models, and a bit sloppily dressed as he tends to work on a million things on once, usually putting himself "last" on the list.

See I agree with Grapple as more an artist, or an architect in a business suit. Though he does build, usually he designs and others do the majority of the building.

Mirage would definately have the gucci on with the pony tail and a martini in his hand. An upper crust snob.

Even in the show though Hound was constantly talking about his love of nature, and his maps and holograms were often of the geography around him. I never read the comics of read the bio books, but Hound always screamed more of a naturalist vibe to me. Not a manly man necessarily, he's not out fighting bears with his bear hands, but he is out studying nature, exploring and learning about the world around him. He'd be like one of the hosts on an animal planet show.

Cosmos is a chubby little guy with a Buddha Belly. And bright red hair.

Powerglide is a snide, self-aggrandizing guy with a perpetual smirk and constantly promoting himself.

And Sunstreaker is an early Sean Penn.

Megatron is with out a doubt, Hitler. I mean think of it. all of the pointers, the unibrow, the iron fisted rule, the fact that megatron was a german pistol, and the fact that on one episode of family guy peter and his family went to a jewish church or something and optimus prime was there for a barmitsfa or something and peter yelled" Optimus Prime is Jewish?", and the fact that Megatron wants all of the autobots destroyed leads me to beleive that.

slytf.gif ?!?

I would think Megatron would be more sophisticated and charismatic, sort of like Don Corleone in the Godfather trilogy. Somebody that would be ruthless enough to do anything to get something done, but has the intelligence and cunning to set up multiple phases to achieve that goal. If anything, Optimus Prime should be Hitler, seeing how in every one of his incarnation, he wants to wipe out all the Decepticons and their "evil", sort of like what Hitler did to demonize the Jews. BTW, all the Autobots has blue eyes, hates what doesn't agree with them, and thinks of themselves as "good", not unlike a certain Aryan party.
FireChief420
Wrong wrong wrong!
For the record, Hitler was quite charismatic. How do you think he took control of Germany?
QUOTE
Freedom is the right of all sentient beings.

Optimus Prime most closely resembles George Washington.

Ultra Magnus, Arcee, Springer, and Hotrod.
Tramp
Actually, from a personality perspective, Prime is more like Abraham Lincoln. What I find ironic is that his movie face, with the face plate retracted remindes me of Lincoln's face, too. As for Megatron, He remindes me more of Nero or Stalin, than he does Hitler.
LordMegatronG1
for Megatron, if he were not hitler, I would suggest DAVY JONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL
Casts A Shadow
Wow...I came into this late...

For the Jazz description: I agree but I can't help but picture him older because of Scatman Crothers (who voiced him). Damn, Scatman kicked ass...anyways:

I see Megatron as more of a Medieval warlord type. I can't see him in the uniform of a dictator. He does not need to be puffed up by awarding himself medals (like most fascist leaders did). He is a weapon and enjoys lording and war. He did retreat alot...but that simply kept the G1 series going bumblebeetounge.gif
Admittedly, his gray helmet look and connections to German war devices are not a coincidence (as far as I see it). But his attitude is more hands on and powerful.

Hot Rod comes off (to me) like the Lieutenant in PLATOON (well-meaning, but clearly has no place in real war) at times.
He'd clearly be in his 20s and have that naive but postive glow about him. He'd also have several looks of humiliation and humbleness (especially during his mopey stint as Rodimus).

I'm curious to see some drawings too. I've no time, but some artist friends of mine might do some for a larf.

Interestingly enough the concept of "dummy drivers" is in the movie! (we all saw Blackout's dummy pilot in the trailer) More homages to the G1 comics! biggrintf.gif

I think that's a fair representation of Tracks.

Joking aside, I wouldn't compare Prime to Washington. From what I recall, Washington gave funds to French slave owners that wanted to prevent the black Hatians from gaining independence. Cullen based his character off of The Duke. He had a Lincoln or Reagan philosophy in a sense. He believed in the freedom for all sentient beings and that "no sacrifice is too great in the service of freedom." I'd cast him as a Spartacus-esque man with a fire fighter physique.
HellboyPrime
First post! I've been lurking on a few TF forums and decided to delurk here. (I'm on too many forums already.)

I've been looking for a thread to contribute to and I'm not the greatest at drawing robots (a shame for an artist who loves Transformers) but this thread intrigued me so I whipped up a sketch.

I think the easy way to go would have been to give a human Optimus a helmet so I tried for a more creative solution. I kind of gave him a sort of commando look, with a beanie and scarf covering his mouth (wrapped around his neck for bulk), sunglasses, and a fancy, made-up headset. I emulated some of Prime's signature details--the smokestack, the rifle, the wheels on the G1 version (here, it's a canteen and a rope spool) and elements of his boots/feet.

Not sure when I'll actually finish this since my vacation officially ends tomorrow.

Any comments are appreciated. And I look forward to joining the fun on the rest of the forum.
