Thanks to Civil War no true leader to rally the troops...Nova, now totally geared up left the planet...all the unregistered heroes probably will be quite reluctant to help...and finally we may get another Hulk vs Wolverine fight!

And seriously...the madder Hulk Gets...the STRONGER Hulk gets...well dude....

Right now of all the WWH items, really looking forward to Ghostrider vs Hulk...I don't think they have ever come into conflict...

eh, the first part of the GR/Hulk story was pretty slow. I don't think there'll be much of a fight between them. Probably just Jonny finding out why Hulk's pissed, and Vengence saying "told ya so, now let's go kill Satan."

The Irredeemable Ant-Man tie in should be good though.

yeah I just wikkied it and saw it was Johnny again.. but Dan is his brother now right? Or was that story line nixed like the Spiderman baby one?

they haven't said in the comics yet, but I believe it's all supposed to be cleared up after WWH, or maybe the arc after that one.

Hulk Frontline was ok, but WWH X-men...THERE is a good time folks! probably one of THE best covers I have seen in a while

gamma corps is lame. in the first few pages i thought it had potential. but then i saw a gamma bird man. ant man was funny. the ghost rider tie in just seems forced. no real reason for it other than they needed more titles for tie ins. i liked the different art and slightly different perspective of the wwh#1 fight portrayed in ironman 19. and humbug is so awsome now. i hope foxy or whatever her name is dies.

wwhulk 2- i thought we'd see more action from the warbound. i guess thats what the tie ins are for *shrug*. taking out she hulk was pretty cold. the ff fight was really good i think. johnnys nova with storms lightning was the coolest thing in the book imo. so now its the militaries turn? didnt they try to nuke him in the beginning? not much else they can do i think...

wwhulk xmen2- im beginning to see a trend. issuue one, wave one of xpeople. issue two, wave two of xpeople, and issue three will be- you guessed it- wave three of xpeople. i thought the fighting in issue one was better. but it was decent.

ghost rider13- at first i thought it was silly. and him just being there is still kind of silly. but it turned out pretty neat in the end. what with the spirit taking over after blaze is knocked out and his "judgement" of the others ie: the illuminati.

not bad for this weeks installments.

Not just the military - General Thunderbolt Ross is gunning for the Hulk. These two have had a lot of history -- none of it good.

From the start of GR, they've been saying Jonny would have conflicts with the spirit, and this is the first time it's really happened, so it was fun for me to read. And since this immediately follows GR's Causalties of War arc, I wonder if the creators are tieing in to try and grab more readers?

i did say the second part to gr's wwh tie in was good. giving us a glimpse of his real power level was really cool. i think as far as the recent tie ins is because they were struggling to find titles to tie in. most of the other ones are busy with theyre own dealies at the moment.

heros for hire 12- am i the only one in love with humbug? i like him before when he was merely comics relief, but now hes all badass and cool. the costume design is great as well. changs stand was cool. just shows the power of hulks minions. and humbug submitting to the brood queen... i think he'll come to his senses at the right moment.

ironman 20- haha. take that jackass. and his best plan is to put manhatten in the negative zone? yeesh.

incredible hulk 108- the story was good, the contrast between the two allies was neat. but i was hoping for the conclusion to the "will you let us help you" in 107. maybe theyre saving it for wwh3. who knows.

x-men tie-ins are great, Wolvy got so f'ckd up.

Just read WWH 3: Quite good, IMO. Story-wise, not all too deep, but I liked the appearance of Banner. It really showed that there is no real difference between Hulk and Banner at the moment. Bth of them loved Caiera, both of them lost her, and both of them are angry about it.

Also, am I the only one who laughed out loud at the final page?

No, that's part 4. They announced online, like for example on Newsarama, that WWH 3 would be released 2 weeks after part 2. And, it did.

so far, the heroes for hire tie ins are my favorite. mainly because i know some will die. and humbug has some depth beyond being "the funny guy" now. not that i didnt enjoy him then. but after the ironman tie ins, the gr tie ins, and xmen, it seems to be going rather slow. issue 4 isnt even out yet, and then theres another month after that before the conclusion. not many tie ins between. my intrest has fizzled quite a bit. with the kickoff i was all "F*CK YEAHHHH!!!" wearing a hulk jersey with my face painted green. foam finger.. ect. but now i just want to see a conclusion.

has Sentry done anything yet?

all they did was ask for his help in wwh1 (if i recall correctly). he was sitting on a couch. he has yet to make an appearance besides that. issue four will be out soon with his captives fighting in his make shift arena, what happens with that who knows. and issue five will have sentry. so say the pics in marvel previews anyways.

The fanfare does seem to be petering out for it. I know Hulk's writer plans to take him through 3 big storylines (Planet Hulk, WWH, ...), but I haven't heard anything about what'll happen next. Have I missed an announcement or anything?

So, I'm planning to read Planet Hulk and WWH in trades. Other than She-Hulk's Planet without a Hulk, what other stories should I pick up? For reference, the only other 616 titles I have are Ghost Rider, Irredeemable Ant-man, and Annihilation.

just looking for some reccomendations? what im reading right now (besides every spiderman title under the sun naturally) is thor, loners, heroes for hire, new avengers, thunderbolts, ghost rider, and red sonja. loners is pretty fun, though itll be wrapping up soon and id suggest looking for it in a trade. thor kicked off quite nicely, get issue three for sure. heroes for hire ive liked even though its spent alot of time tied up with marvels "events". my intrest for tb and na is sort of fizzling.. as is red sonja. i picked up marvel comics presents which i thought was excellent. the stories with spidey and thing were great. hellcat was funny but i dont know what to make of it. but id say its worth a buy. and now that ghost rider trail of tears is done you should wait for a trade to come out. it was good. i love crains art.

wwh#4- good issue. 1 and 2 are still better though. all it did was confirm what i thought would happen really. they all fight, no one dies, sentry gets up off his ass at the end of the issue and says "look for me in issue five kids!"

wwh frontline#4- i think i like the side story more than the actual story. korg and that detective going back and forth is humorous.

eh, less recommendations and more what stories lead up to/tie into it?

It was pretty good. It ended as I thought it would. Nothing of significance shall come of it, despite the reveal of the Hulk's son at the end of the comic.

im excited to see a new widdle hulk. i thought it ended nicely. and as always i love jrjr.

did anyone read heroes for hire 15? how f*ckin weak was that? humbug doesnt redeem himself, hes the only one who dies, he was a tool the whole time and.... dammit i figured it would end with him double crossing the bugs and getting whatsherface. white suited nija girl. you know the one. instead she loves moonboy. i was pretty disappointed with that.

Good story, ending was weak imo. Amazing Tony had the strength to run. For all its worth, its still their fault. Would love to see too see Dad and Son kick ass. Wonder how Betty is going to feel about this, whenever they decide to revive that.
