Are there any transformers energon sightings in Chicago?

Newest I've seen in Woodfield area is Basic wave 2 and the super asst. with Landmine.

Sorry, just saw a 20th Prime at Target, forgot that one.

I saw Universe Ramjet today and some old stock of Armada (Optimus Prime, Powerlinx OP are both $20, Red alert, Tidal Wave). Also Unicron is on sale for $30 until 4/10.

Anyone know where an Energon Ultra Magnus might be found? Read somewhere he was being reissued this month as a Target exclusive.

Armada Unicron has been marked down to $25 at KB toys. Most stores in the Chicagoland area recieved them on Mon. 4-12-04. The ones that didn't recieve them will be getting them on Wed.

This isn't in Chicago, but K-Mart in Peoria and other parts of Central Illinois have clearance sales. Some of their prices seem to be up to 50% off. I picked up an Armada Tidal Wave for $12 at the K-Mart in Peoria. They didn't have many Transformers left in their clearance section, but other K-Marts around here have similar sales with different Transformers.

I bought Alternator Silverstreak from a Wal-Mart in, Burbank, IL, a suburb of Chicago. It's not one that have ever gone to, but since I was passing by, I decided to go in and take a look. They only had one, but at least it's nice to know that the toy is in the area.

Still looking for Hound though.

Has anyone else in Chicago seen any of the new Alternators? I've been to 3 Targets, a Wal-Mart and I stop at Toys R Us on Western Ave about every other day and I haven't seen a new Transformer in MONTHS! I'm looking for Silverstreak, Hound and Dead End. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just found a shockblast and I saw a hound today. I brought Shockblast,but not hound.

any one in the northern burbs seen hound ?

But I did find some powerlinx battle guys at a Target today!

Just got back from a job intervew, and while I was out I checked out the selection at Target: Greatlands, on State in Rockford.

I got there early, so I probably saw the shipments in full. Standouts:

1) 1 entire Alternators case was present. Hound, Dead End, White Meister, and Tracks were all on display. Hound and Dead End were in the old packaging, Meister and Tracks in the new.

2) The gestalts are here! I saw the crane (right arm) and backhoe of the construction guys, and the red A-10 and the black F-22 of Superion. No sign of Bruticus's parts, nor were there any of the central pieces.

3) Beyond that, there was a couple Bulkheads, and the entire Energon collection up to this point.

4) Plenty of Nemesis Prime's were here as well. =)

I've still found no new alternators since Sideswipe. And there are Smokescreens and Sideswipes everywhere. Target and Toys R Us has a lot of the new Energon in the Powerlinx Battles red packaging.

take about a 15 hour drive south to oklahoma... we have up to number 7 in most walmarts... why not just order them from walmart.com.... you can combine the shipping and have it in about a week? just an idea... dont kill me...

Hodgkins Target had 2 each of Sledge, Duststorm, Skyshadow, and Treadshot (it was 3 ea. but i got one of each), a Bulkhead and some newer deluxes.

Broadview Target has 2 Bulkheads, recolor Ironhide, a bunch of newer deluxes,and Dreadwing. They also had in a new box of alt's but I got the Tracks and Hound the other day, I went back today to see if they still had the Meister but it was gone the only one they had left was Dead End.

Toys R Us in N. Riverside has about 50 Optimus/Megs 2 packs.

I'll likely be heading up to Melrose park area tomorrow so I'll see if I can find anything new there.

Just found Energon Barricade at Wal-Mart in Peru, IL. Hopefully more new stuff to come soon!

After months and months of searching Alternators are showing up in the Chicago area! I've seen most of the Energon stuff too (except Alpha Q and Wing Saber). Area Targets seem to be the best bet for newer stuff.

I found Silverstreak and Hound at a Target way out on Irving Park and Harlem right before Christmas. Then yesterday, I found Jazz (Meister), Swindle and Grimlock at the Target on Addison just west of California!!! Still keeping my eyes peeled for Tracks and Dead End.

I also checked out the Toys R Us on Western and they finally got Hound and Silverstreak too.

I don't understand why these were available in so many places, but it took us so long to get them in Chicago. We just got like 4 waves all at the same time after staring at overstocked Smokescreens and Sideswipes for almost a year. Weird.

Hey all!!! Went to the Glen Carbon/Edwardsville Target and saw Barricade...sadly didnt have any money to purchase him. There was only one left.

Just completed my Superion thanks to the Princeton, IL Super Wal-Mart. Still a few Windrazors and Terradives left plus Stormcloud and Kickback.

This morning Target on N. Elston had new Alternators. I picked up the last Shockblast, but they still have Swindle, Ravage and Grimlock. They are also usually good about restocking, so I would check back early tomorrow (Sun 3-13-05) in the AM.

Yesterday I picked up Alt Wheeljack and Shockwave at Target in Fox Valley.  I got the only ones they had (sorry fellas) but if they're this far already there's got to be more somewhere in Illinois!

I'm just glad someone found him outside of a wal-mart! 

Nice find, now back to hunting for teh almighty wheeljack, and on another note has anyone one seen the repaint of Omega supreme lately???

Went to TRU in Joliet last night and found Cybertron...they had Jetfire, Scourge, Vector Prime, Supreme Starscream and the smaller figs as well.  Looked like the Leaders were sold out.  No Wheeljack or anything else interesting though.  Just thought I'd pass it along.

Kay-Bee "Outlet Stores" are usually dumping grounds for stuff they haven't been able to sell in the main stores, due to overpricing or overstock or both.  Rarely will you find new stuff there, and I've NEVER seen any Alt besides Smokes and Sideswipe at any Kay-Bee.

I found new Alternators today at Target on Addison.  I found Prowl and Decepticharge.  Also they still had some Grimlocks and Swindles.  And tons of Cybertron stuff.

I picked up Prowl and I'm a little disappointed with the blue/gray color change.  With flame skids on the way I'm consider shifting to Binaltech.

Damn!  I was in Aurora today.  Found a couple new Cybertron Scouts, picked up Breakdown and 2 Armorhides at Toys "B" We on that buy 2, get the 3rd free special (gonna paint one orange to make Huffer).  No luck with DCharge or Prowl tho.  I wants them sooooo bad....

Thanks hikaru! I saw your sighting and went up there tonight. The store on Addison didn't have anything good but I went to the store on Elston and found DC there, the box was pretty busted up but I got it anyway.

Best of all, on the way I stopped at Brickyard Target (almost didn't) and I found Prowl there.   

I went to the Peru IL Target today on a whim, and I'm glad I did!  They had all the Cyb Armada repaints, plus Snarl and Sideways!!

Today at Woodfield Mall in Fox Valley I found a TON of G1 Reissue Sideswipes.  I picked one up, had to be at least eight more.  $14.99 each.
