I was wondering if anyone can briefly explain how using taobao works. It seems like it is a very different auction site than eBay since I hear it doesn't charge listing fees.

There are a couple of listings I am very interested in and I was hoping that there may be some online service that would bid on my behalf (in case the seller doesn't ship internationally....I live in the US).

I have registered before but using it is a bit confusing when I have to keep putting sections into an online translator.
