That was quick! I went to the local Wally World today in search of the new Alts. What I didn't expect to find was a full shelf of Rumbles and Ravages with a clearance sticker under them. There must have been around fifteen of each. I wasn't all that interested in Rumble, but at 11 bucks a pop, I couldn't resist. I picked up two of each with the intentions of posting the spares on The End Cap at the $11 price tag for those who are having a hard time finding them. I'm glad I did. When I transformed Ravage, I noticed that a piece of the red paint from one of the eyes was bubbled and flaking off.

Also, while in the store, I noticed that the chrome painted strip and emblem on most of the Jaguars' grills and side panel accents were misaligned on almost all of them. Same for the text on the license plates on all the Rumbles. I thought I picked the best of the lot, but there was no way I could have caught the shoddy paint on Ravage's head. I'm hoping, that if Hasbro decides to continue producing the Alternators line, they step up the QC.

I had a similar problem on Ricochet. His back plate doesn't align, because his feet won't snap all the way together. Not a problem in bot mode, but I do like to put my alts in car mode from time to time.

Damn, wish I could actually find them. My closest Wally hasn't had jack since Xmas.

Say what!? I might just pick up Rumble for that price.

They were all over the place when I was travelling around Malaysia for the last two weeks. And cheap too!

Same here. And the next one is out by a nurse for my sister, but that's about half an hour to almost forty minutes from me, and I really don't want to drive that far just for a toy.

If I run across these at that price, I may pick up a second set........and end up selling em.

Some of these stores might be trying to move these to make room for the movie figures. Thinks movie figures will sell a lot faster than Alternators.

Geez, I'm sure there are areas much worse off than Minnesota, but dang. I haven't seen either of these guys and there's a Wal Mart down the block form my work, so I go there every other day or so.

no ravages or rumbles in my 3 walmarts either. Had to buy them on ebay for 19.99 each plus 10 shipping.

Yeah, the quality control on these is terrible, so be careful. Also, while I was able to somehow procure every Alternator, I'm still disappointed in the fact that their last two were practically impossible to find (Nemesis and Camshaft), and now they're basically giving these away. I guess when it rains it pours.

I'm a little suprised that there are any left to clearance - it seemed like the scalpers got to all of them. I still haven't seen any in my area. I'm glad that they were nothing more than a curiosity buy for me if I had found them.

Not about to cry about it though. I think my alts (unless new cooler ones are developed/released) ended with Prime/Mirage.

I wouldn't6 object to either if I found em somewhere for 30 CND but with movie figs soon flooding in & Classics long caught up I'm not about to complain.

I only saw Prime and Mirage once, and Mirage was so covered with paint defects I didn't even want to try and fix him for fear of mucking it up. Never saw Camshaft on the shelf at all. I'd love to find these guys, especially two Rumbles, so I can repaint one as Frenzy.

I just went to a super Walmart, and they had like six of each. I was hoping to see them reduced but they were still regular priced.

mine has about 20 each... i bought a second set of them... might go check tomorrow to see if they are on clearance...

I actually saw a whole stack of these guys at my local Walmart today.. I just shrugged and walked away. Now if there was a Mirage or maybe Altimus Prime in there, I probably would of walked out with something.

Still normal price at my local store. But there are also way fewer of them than when I bought them!

I just bought them at Wally on Saturday, full price.

Are these the only two alts in the shipment? I was hoping that Cammy would get a second run when these guys came out...

yea, me too... him and swerve would have been a nice assortment. although i saw 4-5 swerves and 0 camshafts.

but yes, they are the only ones in the cases. mine are still full price.

Haven't come across them in WPG, MB
but then again, we get weird shipments (some lines end for a month or 2...then we'll get a dozen per store of all current figures for no reason).
