IDW is releasing all 4 issues of the TF movie adaptation in June. I'm waiting until after the 4th to read them because I don't want the movie spoiled. What about everyone else?

Definitely. I remember when the Marvel TF:TM adaptation came out, there were lots of differences between the two - not only visually, but some in the story as well.

Yes, come the 4th I will be ingesting TF movie lore in many ways;
The video game for PSP
The Prequel
The Adaption
The little Legends of Cybertron
All this, well maybe just the LoC's and game since I will prolly have me and my friends at the theater about 45 - 30 minutes before the show starts for the best seats in the house.

Gonna sit back and wait for the movie, mostly because I hate coming up with my own voices for the characters. Especially since said characters have voices already picked out for them. BTW, reading the prequel comic with Hugo Weaving's voice is 100% kickass.

Sure I will.
I'll buy them anyways and know that I won't be able to buy them and not read them. I'll steal little glimpses so I might as well simply read them.
I also think there will be differences between the two.
Besides, I don't think this will be such an impressive story. It's an American movie about transforming robots from another planet come to wage war on Earth, that has to appeal to adult fans and kids alike. Don't expect too many shocking/unsurprising things.

I only bought the first issue, and even then I bought the B&W issue--that, to me, feels more like the "pre-credit sequence" of the movie as opposed to a complete prequel.

I don't mean the prequal, I mean the actual adaptation.

Agrees.
Two movie adaptations I did read beforehand was Starship Troopers & the first part of Ep 1. Ep 1 didn't excite me very much because looking back on it I was like what the hell is with all this political nonsense, is this an under sea adventure or Starwars & who the Powerglide is this obnoxious Jar Jar Binks character? Gah this movie's going to suck.
Transformers however based on the two prequal comics I've read feel as much like Transformers as anything else I've seen. This is basically the War Within the movie.

As for any doubt I had regarding Megatron's spaceship design looking stupid after seeing it across pages 2/3 in PC2 I honestly have to say it looks to be the best Megatron design for an alt in recent years.
