for me its pretty much anything spidey. ultimate, amazing, friendly neighborhood, sensational, amazing spidergirl. also reading ghost riders reboot (not to enthralled. ill prolly drop it if it doesnt pick up) and trial by tears (which is pretty good so far). also have dark tower 1-2 but havent read it yet. also have heroes for hire and civil war in its entirety to begin. just missing the earlier titles and tie ins then i can finally start, even though i know how it all ends.
my friend says theres going to be an "omega flight" title starting soon. and from what i saw in the initiative one shot i think ill give that a go. also cant wait for planet hulk to start.
reading something new? share it!

read some spidey comics....
sensational seems to be stronger than friendly neighborhood. sensational 24-34 with the whole stregron meteor thing was a good read. lots of action and i always enjoy seeing blackcat. i hope she sticks around for a while after this, i got a good feel for her as a character from "the evil men do" which i finally finished reading. and now that her feelings for peter are re-emerging (moreso in temd than the sensational appearances) im hoping this will turn into something. but switching the artists up annoyed me because i was growing quite fond of clayton crain's realism. its kind of a cheat to have him do most of the covers.
freindly neighborhood just seems to be filler. there were a few good stories earlier on, like the new mysterio(s) and peter trying to save his school. the interactions between peter and flash were great (and the nurse lady... wtf?). ive really enjoyed all the "unmasked" comics and seeing everyones reactions to peters outing, not to mention the struggles peter himself is going though. but the new back in black stories arent really doing it for me. mainly because i want to know how asm 538 ends and so far nothing has been touched on.

I'm pretty much reading MVU books.
- ASM, currently Marvel's flagship title, because, although I love Peter David, his FNS doesn;t really do anything for me. - New Avengers - Mighty Avengers - The Initiative - Cable & Deadpool, because, YAY, Deadpool!
That is pretty much it. Some loose TF stuff, but this is most of what I pull.

it makes you think about what it would be like to be able to switch gender's on a whim like that. happosai has to be my favorite character though. i should really get started watching the anime now, but i've got alot on my plate ATM. it's one of the few manga series that i've actually finished. i've got a ton of manga, i just havn't finished or started them yet.

Almost exactly what I read. I read Mighty Avengers and (for now) New Avengers as well.
Justice is absolutely worth picking up in any form.
I just cut back on my "new" comic spending and plan to buy more essentials/masterworks. Currently reading Essentrial FF volume 3; Lee/Kirby is the best comic book team ever!

If you can find them, I suggest going with the issues--the trades are being released in hardcover format, but there's only four issues per TPB. Not very cost-effective.

added amazing spidergirl to the list. but, and i know this might be lame, i wont be reading them until i get the first run of spidergirl (1-100) and read that first. i let a sweet lot on ebay slip away. but ill keep watching for another.

Some boring stuff pertaining a fat business man summoning Kazaan, issue 3 is when things really pick up with Ghost Rider taking on Hoss and Ruth.
P.S. Deadpool is offically my new favorite comic book hero/villain/guy.

Just Finished Millar's WANTED which is fantastic despite the photo referencing to actual celebrities. And the ending is exactly perfect and completely unpredictable.
Also reading - Smith's SHAZAM - which i am unimpressed with.
Occasionally pickup one of the TF spotlights just to remind myself how lifeless IDW has made the TF story.
Also just finished Wolfskin which was great but the ending was a downer.

DOKTOR SLEEPLESS is my new longform science fiction comics novel for grown-ups like what you are.
It's being published by Avatar Press.
It will be monthly, and in full colour.
It will sell for US$3.99, like an IDW book, because that's the cost of doing business.
It will have backmatter. Massive backmatter. DOKTOR SLEEPLESS will be shadowed by a wiki at www.doktorsleepless.com and backmatter will move to and from the wiki. Sometimes it'll be seen in print before it goes on the wiki, sometimes not.
Once the book's live, the wiki will be opened up for readers to add to it. You will see why.
DOKTOR SLEEPLESS will be launched in July.
Stand by for further instruktions.

Hayate the Combat Butler: I love fourth-wall breaking humor, especially with cute girls.
JLA/JSA Lightning Saga seems very, very promising. Avengers: The Initiative as well.
Sadly, Cable & Deadpool seems to lose momentum ever since Civil War has hit it. I really get the feeling there is something lacking, like it has lost a sense of direction. Too bad, considering it is/was one of my favorite books.

I like that they're cheap. Maybe I'll pick up the first one on FCB.
I picked up the first trade of DMZ today. It's pretty good, but I don't know if I'll stick with the series. I haven't finished it yet, so maybe the end will wow me. Either way, I'll at least look through the second one. The first volume of 100 Bullets didn't do much for me either, but the series really took off in the second one.

ive got pretty much everything from the initiative tie-ins. some good stuff in there. whats more note worthy is silver surfer: requiem, daredevil: battlin jack murdok, and loners. ive read ss, its pretty cool. dd i havent yet (just picked it up today) and loners is a fun title and an interesting look at the road some heroes took after the civil war. remember darkhawk? i do to. hes in it. i always liked him.
and spiderman 540.... quit sitting on the fence about aunt may. let her die or make her better. and now he "knows" its kingpin. he shouldnt have been surprised.
