From what I heard, it's just pretty animation with crappy dialog.

When SamueL L. Effin' Jackson is Afro Samurai you can't go wrong. It's a pretty good Anime IMHO albeit it's on Spike.
Teh DVD comes out Tuesday! Oh, and it's already shipping over at Amazon. I haven't seen it yet cause I didn't have anything more than the local stations when it was on, but I'm really excited about getting to watch it next week when it arrives. I kinda wish Sam would carry around a sword as well.
