Uh, yeah... anyone have pics of some good action figures/model kits of these guys? Especially Epyon(sp?) Gundam.

I loved the designs in this series... Epyon is still my favorite gundam.

man sometimes I thought I drank to forget I built the entire 1/144 collection..... and now I remember....

some were okay some were bad, the others. never mind. the 1/100 scale did some nice bits but then fell into the black. they were troubling times sometimes.

I had 2 model kits, Epyon and Wing Zero Custom. Also had a Dragon Gundam Kits from G-Gundam... good stuff, all around.

However, Epyon and Wing Zero Custom were always very weak, joint-wise, and fell apart easy. I bought those Bandai Action Figures, which were good, too. The amount of accessories was baffling.

Man, I which there were Masterpiece Gundam. Optimus Prime against Epyon! POW!

One of my personal favorites is the MK-II Titan.

I still want to build that MG Ver Kai Wing. It'd be interesting if they continue those ones but I think we're bound for maybe another SEED star or something else soon.

um Gok.... it's its own continuity. its like G1 fans complaining about the "unicron redubs" my problem with Wing though is that it's the most guaranteed to get you sh*t faced drinking game ever. Seriously here's the rules:

2 swigs: someone talks about Self-Destructing
shot: Treize says something
2 shots: stock video footage of a Gundam doing something
chug: when someone so much as thinks of the word "Pacifism"

But Treize is awesome. Just crazy.

I'd rather down the bottle whenever Heero says "Releena". Drunk in no time!

Seriously, a great series for just character development, etc. but some of the characters you just want to kill. And it's obvious that the other characters do, too, considering Quatre was almost killed in Wing Zero, and got stabbed, shot, and owned within two episodes. Dumbass.

G Gundma was good, too. Just way too weird.

The only thing a Gundam show is good for ( not counting the original of course ) a drinking game! Maybe it gets better the more you drink! I doubt theres enough alcohol in the world!

No, just the regular Wing Gundam, and Zero Custom. That's the Wing Gundam ver. Ka (the FIX Figuration one, to be precise). It was designed by Hajime Katoki as a retcon to the original Wing Gundam design, to reconcile it with the Zero's new Endless Waltz design. Similar redesigns of the other four Gundams were also made, although no mass-release action figures or models exist of those ones.

And no, there is no Epyon ver. Ka, unfortunately. And all the OZ units were already designed by Katoki in the first place, so they're a non-issue (although if you notice, they all get a proportion overhaul in Endless Waltz, with beefier looking bodies and slightly smaller heads).

Erm, timeline-wise, Heavyarms Kai is Heavyarms Custom.

The "Kai" designations given to Heavyarms and Sandrock refer to the space-faring mods made to the two Gundams at the end of the series (as well as the slightly improved armament. Sandrock got its Uzi, Heavyarms got its second gatling barrel), and thus, are the final iterations of the Gundams that later make their redesigned appearance in Endless Waltz.

But yeah, I know what you're talking about, and I want that Gatling Gun in model form (MG Please ). The RX-78-5 (or is it 6? One of the pair, anyways) comes with a similar one, but Heavyarms' is still bigger.

Epyon was the first Gundam model I bought, and I love the design as much today as when I first bought it. I only wish I had enough time to finish the Deathscythe model I bought 3 years ago!

Hence the appeal, The Gundam continuity completly SUCKED after the 1st series, no the 1st series sucked too.
IMPO the only GOOD Gunndam series had absolutly NOTHING to do with Amaro. Way to Fudging Emo.
Besides having the Gundam as a force against a militray force is always a better concept.

Endless Waltz? WTF....Wing Zero is a Giant Chicken...Death Scythe (the only one I really liked) has NO weapons save the sythe...all it takes is a single gun to take out a fleet...

Seed, is a series I liked...haven't seen the follow up yet...

Gundam Wing was the first real GUndam show I watched, so, there is a G1-esque appeal to it. SEED is good, can't complain. Just watched the entire seaon again. Now I'm going to rewatch SEED Destiny.

Say, besides the sidestory of Stargazer, are there any plans to revisit the Cosmic Era universe? (I'm a Cagalli-Athrun shipper, and I want to see their relationship resolved. )

I'm pretty sure that a third CE season has been hinted at, but we've had no proper confirmation as of this moment.

Apparently, there will be a movie following the events after SEED Destiny. Nothing else is known, but I'm not sure if a 2.5 hour movie can satify my Gundam appetite.

im sorta on the fence when it comes to wing. on the one hand it was the first gundam show i watched and it got me into the whole gundam thing but after watching 8th MS team and seed i can see why people have problems with it my major beef is when did the upgrades happen befor EW i got the manga that was supose to explain it but all that happens is the heroes pick sides basicly

There were no "upgrades" to the Custom forms of the Gundams. It was a retroactive design change. Endless Waltz was written from the standpoint that the Gundams always looked like that (or at least, post-upgrade in the series).

I think they did the whole change in designs as part to set Endless Waltz apart from the rest of Gundam Wing. I forget why but the last reason I heard was because Hajime Katoki's "What IF" designs for the Wing designs were so popular they had him redesign the units for the OAV. His take on the Wing mecha were great. I loved the Heavyarms Kai with the back pack mounted, drum fed gatling gun. (Metal Gear fans think of Vulcan Raven)

Yep, in Endless Waltz, the upgraded Gundams always looked like that. It was a bit confusing, but they looked great doing it.

I'd have to say i liked Gundam Wing the best (not seen G-Gundam or Seed Destiny).
I think the Gundams look coolest in Wing, without the campness of "Gundam" or the crying emo kids of "Seed".
I was put off Seed Destiny purely from just watching seed, too many teenagers doing the do in they're quaters then crying about it the next day.... sheesh
On a minor note... i seen a dude with a Gundam Wing baseball cap the other day.... WELL JEALOUS..
