Frosty 2.0
Well, I was browsing when I came across this.
http://pony-hp3.web.infoseek.co.jp/RAIDEN.htm
It's a boxset of two of the Human Mechs and one Robot Mech.
Well, I'd like it if lego released this boxset... Or at least the instructions, cause the gestalt they pull off is really awesome.
But then again, it might clash with the whole storyline, having the two opposite sides combine.
XD

I'm with you on that one, Frosty - the only kinda boxset in the UK right now is the Bridge Walker vs White Lightning. Hopefully someone will scan in the instructions for that nifty looking gestalt!!

Looks pretty neat, nice find Frosty.

It actually doesn't clash against the storyline. A mecha was shown in the Lego Magazine named Blazing Hunter, was made up of a Stealth Hunter and Fire Vulture. The storyline for it was, it was actually built from a destroyed Fire Vulture, to repair a damaged Stealth Hunter.

Anyways, I suppose this is a wide-release of the Conventions "exclusive" released a while back in Japan. Lego had commissioned Shoji Kawamori to design a Exo-Force mecha. He also designed a set of decals for the design, that was available if you purchased 3 $15-scale sets.

I'm not sure if this is a new design by Kawamori, or a redesign using the sets purchased to get the decals.
(The original design was made just by using the Grand Titan and the Stealth Hunter. Unfortunantly, when I built it...the model was fragile as hell, in the last stages and I could never finish it.)

Well Unclejoe, I did forget to think of that... XD
No problem.
So, Shoji did the design?
Explains the gerwalk-ish mode. XD

Speaking of instructions, here's someone's someone's brickshelf that did a recreation of Shoji Kawamori's design, and the new Raiden design.

They did it in steps, so you've pretty much got instructions right there.

If you're interested in it, here's the first design Shoji Kawamori did. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=161353
