Here's one: Apparently, Classics Voyagers have appeared at Bart Smith , one of the largest toy chains in The Netherlands.
So, The Netherlands gets Classics at just about the same time as The U.K. AND gets more Cybertron toys too.
On top of that, reports are that Prime and Megatron have an SRP of $20 in The Netherlands - £6 or so cheaper than here.

Don't forget Arcee - that thing was almost some soft of an urban myth.
Speaking of Energon, There's also the mystery of Jetfre.

well i think its save to say chroma/thunderblast has gone the same way. but i dont blame hasbro 100% i mean i think stores are to blame aswell for stocking up on earlyer waves too soon
maybe in an asortment of 8 they should have 1 of each character at least then thiers little chance of shelf warmers even if the waves are spaced fether apart

The fact that Hasbro U.K shipped nothing but CD Hotshot and Downshift for four months didn't help either

Makes perfect sense. Pity Hasbro didn't have the wit to think of that.

I think that may be more to do with the way Argos have handled Alts in the part - they got Shockblast long before
it was actually released by Hasbro U.K, and they had an exclusive on Prime last year.
Which would mean maybe they haven't gone out of their way at all.

Ok, here is what happened while I was a UK customer:
I called Hasbro Uk about beast wars transmetals tigerhawk and megatron. They said they didnt exist. They checked the internet after i told them i already had, then they found them under "firery red dragon" and "flying white tiger" (not under their actual names). When they had to then "check in the depot in the boxes to see if they have any left" I was amazed. They had no inventory!
I also remember when Hasbro UK had some toys up for sale on their now defunct Uk TF site...for about a few hours. They didnt actually have said toys for sale in the UK either. Bless them.
They are a bunch of uninformed Welsh plonkers. Even Woolworths and I think Argos buy their batches from a different importer.

LOL. Mind you, Hasbro UK has been working with that Tf Auctions site.
What amazes me is that us Brits have Simon Fecking Furman on our soil, plus oodles of top tf artists, talent etc and Hasbro dont seem to be utilising them. Why? A few easily made exclusives, like the beast wars video tfs (spittor/clawjaw) wouldnt go amiss, eh?

i put it down to costs its alot easyer to find some one and its cheaper to hire some one in the US given the lower wages but i just want to say for the record i got to uni in the same town hasbro UK is based in and i'd gladly work at a cheap rate

I keep saying it folks..eBay.
Local stockists apart from maybe Forbidden Planet usually have nothing. Point of fact, if I didn't use eBay and stuck to the burnt offerings that Hasbro UK seem to want to give, I'd never have gotten the following:-
G1 Swoop - classic example of H.UK crapping out, I'll never understand why we never got him!
Reissue G1 Predaking - ok I can sort of see a reason as all that metal does weigh quite a bit
99% of all my BinAlts
G1 Megatron both past and present.
My own end rule is that if you want it you CAN get it, eBay is a buyers market.

postage is a rat and seeing as i think im gonna have to get most of my stuff online now it sucks. i need cyertron scattershot and i think i saw him at one point on amazon.com for about $56 i almost had to call an ambulance. right now its $52.50... hell i cant afford to pay that for 1 figure when theres about 25 more to get

What I hate is that on these boards we get Americans saying that 'i wont pay $20 for so&so, I'll wait till he is in the sale for $10' or 'I got 20th prime for $40' The prices they get to pay make me cry... we get a straight $1 = £1 or worse conversion... its no wonder we dont get many TF's here it takes us all year to save up for one!
Mumble mumble mumble muttley style mutterings....

For me it has actually worked out cheaper to import Transformers from America, as I can get next to free Shipping on smallish items (May the lord bless my sisters American work connections

) And this fact alone peeves me something awful.
"$70?! That's way too much for 20th anniversary DVD prime"
He's £70 in Argos.
Maybe if HasbroUK stopped jerking us about they'd get better business.

Well, the pricing is relative. remember, in a way, 30 dollars IS 30 pounds, if you live in the USA. This is due to the fact that if you get paid, say 100 pounds for a weekend job, then they get paid 100 dollars, so its relative.
I know, if you travel to the country with your own cash, then the exchange rate does affect it, but Hasbro selling a 20 pounds product to Uk people is the same as the usa selling a 20 dollar product to usa people.
Thats why governments dont like free trade, globalisation etc.
The gold standard all over again.
Anyway, if it makes you feel better, my good job in Japan isnt so good if I send my money back home. It, in a strange way, HALVES the value when I send it home you see, due to exchange rates.

I think another problem is the lack of choice (smaller amount of toys to buy) and the lack of good distribution. Hasbro UK are just a shop basically. They are NOT actually Hasbro, merely a glorified warehouse.

yep hasbro tells them what they can sell its just up to Hasbro UK to get it to the shops now my problem with that is when decepticharge and the BW toys only show up in cheepy stores in just one tiny area
