You never know, you might get lucky (by getting the girl obviously, and not ending up looking like this schmuck):

Well, it seems that Wonderfestival was a hit! Unfortunately, yours truly didn't snag a Binaltech Black Convoy, but there were some lovely Hong Kong Vendors that were selling oodles of UK edition Alternator Nemesis Primes for a mere 4,000 Yen (about 40 US Dollars or 20 Quid); so it's like pulling the OTHER Hilton sister at a party: Not as gorgeous as the main one, but not a bad result for considerably less effort!

Here are the pics:

(You can see that there are comparison pics of both the original Robot Masters Beast Convoy/Primal and his repainted version (made to look like his Special Edition DVD pack version released in 2006 with Beast Megatron).

I dont think my shots of Dengeki Hobby Mag's display was shown at TFormers. It was nothing special, just pics of Masterpiece Megs with Convoy next to him...BUT Dengeki Hobby sometimes releases special edition stuff for toys and models, like limited edition stickers, swords etc, so perhaps they will release something for either megs, prime or both? Here's hoping!

5/ Thanks to seibertron.com, news of Fan to Fan's shots, which include shots of a fan-company-made set of fully poseable and cartoon accurate G1 Wheelie and Cyclonus and a Revoltech-style Prime. All sold out in minutes! Scroll down to see them:
