it seems that of all the companies that sell their products to BBTS, Hasbro is the one that takes the longest to ship their merchandise to them. it seems that GI Joe and TF pre-orders always take the longest to get fulfilled. what's up with this?
Blitz
maybe its BBTS's fult for putting them up too early
Aquarion
i'm not sure about that, they tend to be rather reliable with the release dates of their other merchandise.

fwiw, i got my classics shipped from bbts way before they were seen in the midwest, and they shipped scourge and optimal on tuesday, you guys wont see them till november since target is about to flood thier shelves with whatever classics they havent sold from the backrooms

That's because Hasbro doesn't actually like to make their products available to the customers. BBTS subverts their business model.

Hasbro, like Diamond Comics, is a BIG distributer, so they fill the other BIG orders first. BBTS may have big in its name, but I promise you, in the grand scheme of things, its hardly BIG.

Its not that they don't give a crap about the little guy, its just that they have their priorities.

Like Elrod said, BBTS is jsut much lower on the list then say Walmart, Target, or Toys R Us. On the other hand I almost always get the stuff I preorder from BBTS before I see it in stores in my area.

Brick and Mortar places tend to hold onto the stuff they get till older stock is off the shelf. So it can take weeks or even months before some figures actual get out. BBTS has all its stuff up for display and purchase.

I use them for my hard to find and shortpacked stuff, and the local stores for the more common stuff that I know is gonna end up with some kinda sale price eventually.

Yep. Regardless of the fact that they may be slow to put our new stock, the volume retailers hold a lot of power over larger toy companies like Hasbro.

BBTS is supposedly huge.. amongst collectors market vendors. Think it's more that collector market vendors are just tiny compared to multinational distribution chains like Wal-Mart, TRU, etc. Not sure this explains any delays you see from BBTS as opposed to other similar online vendors, but those vendors would be just as small compared to Wal-Mart, Target, & TRU as is BBTS..
